The Billionaire’s Fake Bride

The Billionaire’s Fake Bride

“You know, I don’t like mixing different fruits in the same basket.” I blinked at the sudden topic shift—but welcomed it. “Different fruits have different ripening times,” she continued. “Mixing them can bruise the softer ones, and sometimes the flavors mingle in ways I don’t want.” I nodded thoughtfully, setting my basket down and pulling out the empty one I’d tucked underneath. “Good thing there’s more than one basket,” I said, transferring the firmer apples to the new one and leaving the peaches in the first. Matilda’s eyes crinkled, clearly pleased.

When Arrows Fly

When Arrows Fly

Chapter 34 CAELUM I squinted my eyes and noticed Carlos, pulling his trousers up from his waist as he struggled with the basket of grapes, balancing it on his hips, “Mon signore! Grande. Migliore uve – very very supple!” He said between huff and puff, stumbling as he beckon us down at the bench, facing the stomping place. Rubin sat and her eyes widened when Carlos put the basket of grapes down at her feet, “This are the best harvest so far, try it, rufina!” Carlos held out a piece in front of her face and Rubin takes it, popping the grape in her mouth.

Goddess Diaries {Mystic Realms 2}

Goddess Diaries {Mystic Realms 2}

"The food here is edible, too. Go ahead, pick something from the tress or bushes and try a bite." "What's this one?" Erys was holding a reddish-purple fruit with orange leaves that were similar in shape to a pear plucked from a blue tree. "That's a dragon kiwi," I smiled. "It's so freaking sweet!" Kira held up a yellow spotted, green apple. "What's this one?" "That's a jasmine fruit. It's tangy but juicy." She had grabbed it from the blue bush beside us. Sal and Ver held blue, red spotted berries. "What about these?" They had taken the fruit from the green bush behind them.

PRETEND PRINCESS

PRETEND PRINCESS

"Yes. And. and I want food—lots. Send all of it. Sushi, ramen, wagashi, fruit—send it in a basket. Best quality. Today's for Yuki." He hesitated for half a beat, as if he felt the magnitude of that craving, but nodded after that. "Understood." "Thank you." Kenji handled the rest: ordering an upscale concierge. I drove this vintage eco-sedan to make it inconspicuous, but racing within. I restrained from playing Ecstasy chords—it needed to sound contemplative, not flashy. Still: revenge against cowardice. Ten minutes in, my team told me it was a group of chefs at Azabu that assembled the basket—fresh fruit, sweet mochi, yakitori, soup, three types of nigiri and a jar of matcha pudding. I permi

This book is really interesting and I'm waiting for more updates. Yuyu really is a walking colour disaster sometimes but I love it. Both Creed and Yuyu should sort out their messy relationship before getting together. I can already sense the tension though. Good job author and success to this book

The Accidental Rebirth: The Troubles of a Three-Year-Old CEO

The Accidental Rebirth: The Troubles of a Three-Year-Old CEO

“Huh? But Satou is a boy.” “…What?” Risa took off the straw hat, revealing a clean, short haircut. “I’m Satou Rishi from the baseball team. Same pronunciation, different kanji.” Takuto’s knees buckled. He nearly collapsed. Fate is messing with him. “You seem nervous,” Rishi said, unpacking. “Your face has been pale ever since we got off the bus.” Takuto stared at the nape of Rishi’s neck—there had been a red mole there in Risa’s past life—but it was hidden under the collar.

Savage Love

Savage Love

"You've seen me. Now you can leave" Taken aback, Yuuki momentarily forgot what he had planned to say. His eyes were slightly open in shock. This wasn't how he had planned for things to go. Ryu was supposed to see his blonde hair and go crazy especially with the fact that he and Nori had broken up and Ryu had no one else to play pretend with. "Oh, uh...I-I guess I'll leave this here" he stuttered, placing the basket on the table beside Ryu. "It's rice porridge. Please have it while it's still hot"

Tale As Old As Time

Tale As Old As Time

He would instruct them to plant it near the river, that way the tree could always have water and it would bear tasty fruit. When all the apples have been consumed, Fyn's eyes fell on the other fruits inside the rucksack. There were mangoes and strawberries. The other fruits, he couldn't possibly name. There was a large green fruit with bumpy rinds. It was bigger than Fyn's head. There was also a bright magenta fruit with green elongated peels. There was even what looked like a small yellow melon with deep white stripes.

THE OMEGA'S CURSED ALPHA TWIN MATES

"No, no. It's already too late for that. I got this. I just need to get used to a few things, and I'll be fine." "I can figure it out," she encouraged herself, and as she checked further, her eyes landed on a woven basket tucked near the counter. Blinking, she tilted her head. "How come I never saw this?" "Did Lythari keep this here secretly?" She smiled and curiously reached for it, carrying it over to the sink. "How lovely," she muttered. "Fruits. How I love fruits. Ugh," then she started naming them. "We have blueberries, strawberries, raspberries; not sure what these deep purple ones are called. Mmm… but I think I should know them. What are they called again?"

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

“Mother is worried sick, so she packed you lunch more than usual without you noticing.” Ruta tilted his head, thinking. “So that’s why there are more fruits and vegetables.” “But you ate them all, right?” Jai asked. Ruta nodded. “Then that’s what matters. You’ll get your stamina heightened soon. Just be patience and don’t train too hard. Rest when you’re tired, and remember to eat properly.” Ruta nodded firmly with a smile. “Okay!” Sakura fluttered her wings, this time it was heard by them. “Oh, not yet, Sakura-chan. Let little brother feel the pain.”
