Under the full moon, I let him go and freed myself too. From this moment, our paths would part completely, and we would owe each other nothing.

Blood Moon Bride - Part 1 Isla stood barefoot in the moonlit clearing, the white silk dress clinging to her curves like a second skin. The fabric was thin, almost translucent under the crimson glow of the Blood Moon, leaving little to the imagination. Her heart hammered against her ribs as the entire pack gathered in a wide circle around the ancient stone altar. Hundreds of glowing eyes watched her with a mixture of hunger, curiosity, and reverence. Tonight was the Blood Moon Ceremony, the sacred night when the pack chose a human bride for their future Alpha to ensure strong bloodlines for the next generation.

I will do the stupid Hide and Go Seek in the woods. ‘Thank you. And Sugar?’ “Yeah?’ ‘Whatever happens during the ritual, don’t run and don’t fight me.’ ‘Excuse me?’ He doesn’t answer. I pace my room. The once full blood moon is starting to become a waning gibbous. I always preferred a waxing gibbous. My chest is tight and it feels as if something is trying to claw its way out. I look away from the window and instead sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I barely slept because of the strange feeling.

Then I can disappear before the news about my death reaches anyone. One ship. That's all I need to cross over to a new life. Away from Alphas. Far away from the West Coast. ♡♡Two weeks earlier♡♡ The entire pack buzzes with excitement. It's a Choosing Full Moon tonight, and every unmated wolf seems eager for daylight to give way to night time. Tonight's full moon carries even greater significance. A total solar eclipse will follow in two weeks. People say it's a rare blessing marking the beginning of a new age.

"Picking me up for what? Lunch?" Mum’s face went slack. Her eyes widened, and then narrowed into slits of maternal fury. "Oh, for the love of..." she slammed the cookbook down. "Don't tell me he didn't tell you." "Tell me what?" I asked, a bad feeling curling in my gut. "Today is the full moon, Luna," Mum said, her voice tight. "The first full moon since the transition. Tonight is the Pack Gathering." She rubbed her temples, looking like she wanted to strangle someone. Probably Liam.

Damian asked. “Not so simple. Maybe during the midyear break,” I said. Right then, I heard my mom say something to him. “You heard that?” he asked. “Yeah. She mentioned something about a full moon festival. What’s that?” “Sweetheart!” my mom chimed in. “There’s a holiday honoring Luna’s son—the one who gave rise to the full moon wolves. It’s called the Full Moon Festival, and the entire town shuts down for a whole week. You should come visit since your schedule will be clear.”

“I’m here to tell you that the throne is broken and there will be a game of thrones. And every pack is coming to claim it.” Evelyn’s voice dropped. “What throne?” “There would be a game of thrones where all the pack would rise, that's the preparation that is currently going on,” she replied. “You think this is about Sloan? About your mother? And you would be involved.” She looked directly at Evelyn now. “In four months, the moon will rise over again in the full moon night. Every true alpha will come to the surface. Old laws will fall. Blood will choose.” “And me?” Evelyn asked quietly.

“Are you regretting your deal with Cornel? You can still back out if you…” “No nooo. I just want to know what it is all about.” I replied quickly “well if you say so. The full moon celebration is an important event in the pack. It's on the night of the full moon and everyone in the pack looks forward to it, no matter what’s happening. It’s more than just a party. It's a night of unity, strength, and tradition. A reminder that even if the world condemned us, we won't condemn ourselves.” she paused, her eyes glimmering into a distant memory.

Ch 79 That night, the full moon hung perfectly in the sky, its light illuminating Winterblood Castle with an impressive silvery glow. The night sky was clear, and the stars dotting the sky looked as if they were rejoicing in celebrating this special night. Around the palace, the festive atmosphere was felt to the edges of the territory. The Bloodmoon Festival, an annual event held in honor of the Moon Goddess, was in full swing. A giant bonfire burned in the center of a large field, radiating heat and a golden-orange glow that touched the faces of the attendees, creating shadows that moved with the dance of the flames.

My eyes widened in surprise as I saw the night sky outside the window, bathed in the ethereal glow of the full moon. It hung low, a brilliant silver orb casting its spell on the night. The collective gasp of awe from the pack members echoed in my ears, and I couldn't deny the beauty of the moment. It was an unexpected full moon, and everyone immediately became excited. The significance of the full moon wasn't lost on me. It meant more than just a picturesque night; it was a night when werewolves without mates often found their destined partners, and those already bonded with a mate experienced the
