“Dante,” he said quietly, “it’s starting.”
He turned—and froze. Dante was watching the sign too, his eyes glinting faintly gold. “He’s infecting the wolves first,” Dante murmured. “Our instincts, our signals. That frequency he triggered—it’s rewriting something.”
