Caleb’s warriors hesitated to walk in, their gazes drifting to Ava and then her battleground.
“Now, please,” Caleb prompted. “And then bring people in to clean this up before humans come past.”
Ava’s cheeks coloured, their bond flaring with her mortification.
“They don’t have to,” she said quickly. “I did this. I’ll... I’ll clean up after myself.”
But she had nothing to be ashamed of. Standing tall and naked over the bloody chaos, she looked like a goddess. Like a fierce warrior, straight out of battle. Dirt smeared all over her face and bare body from their run, now it mixed with the blood of her enemies.
