Gamora had a slight smile on her face as she gazed at Astrid. “Y-yes, that’s right!” Astrid noticed Gamora staring at her when she finished speaking. She sounded slightly nervous as she asked, “Mother, why… Why are you staring at me? Do I have something on my face?” “No, you don’t have anything on your face. But you have something here,” Gamora said as she smiled and pointed at where her heart was.

“They’ve released the Guardians.” Silence crashed. Nathan froze. “No.” Victor looked equally horrified. “No.” Amara frowned. “What are Guardians?” Nobody answered immediately. Bad sign. Very bad sign. Then Adrian’s mother finally spoke. “They were the final stage.” The tunnel went silent again. “The final stage of what?” Amara asked. Pain crossed the woman’s face. “The children.” She answered. No. No no no. Amara’s breathing seized. Victor closed his eyes. Like he already knew.
