I said without looking at him, waiting patiently for the metal to heat up. "What?" "I said, try again," I growled, my voice cold and low. "Mr. Gabriel?" "Wrong." I smirked, and then placed the hot blade on his palm. But that wouldn't hurt, right? I shifted slightly to where it would hurt most. This time, he couldn't hold back the scream as the searing metal sunk into his flesh. His friends watched in stunned horror. I leaned close to his ear. "My name is Luciano Russo, heir to the Italian Mafia. And I'm just getting started with you."

His obsidian eyes seemed to miss nothing, and his dark hair fell in artful disarray. Luca was known as the "Whisper." He was a master of stealth and subterfuge, able to move in and out of the shadows without a trace. His quiet demeanor and deadly precision had earned him the nickname. He was the clandestine operative for the Bianchi Shadows, a secretive and mysterious gang known for their covert operations and manipulation of information.

I could only assume, but I figured none of them were used to being ordered around, which was exactly what Luigi was doing. “I’m waiting,” Luigi said, his tone firm. Big D was still holding my arm, but his eyes were locked on Luigi. Suddenly, he let out a laugh. “Who the fuck are you?” Big D said with contempt. Assuming Luigi was just some clueless, soft-face boy trying to play the hero, he waved his hand disdainfully in the air. “You want to be a martyr, you little shit?” Big D chuckled. “Fine. Boys, teach this meddlesome shit head a lesson.”

The smile on his face is taunting, allowing me to see that he knows more about me than I do about him. "I see you got my message," he notes, pointing down to the paper I still hold in my hand. A lump gathers in my throat as I glance down at it. I don't think I can handle not knowing anything about this man for another second, especially with the probability of Malik walking back in here being so high. He holds his hands out, and I see his hands are encased in strange ebony velvet gloves. "I'm known most commonly as Fate."

I could leak my location and take down as many as I could; but Luigi would be dead before I drew my gun. “You took a long awful time getting out of your car.” He threw the cigarette on the floor and stepped on it. “You must be Gio.” The first thing I noticed about the very attractive man was his missing eye. It was a huge blow to his untouched face and I almost reached out to touch him. “And you are?” “My name is Alvaro.” He wiped his hand on his jean and stuck it out, I shook it. “The boss is waiting for you inside.”

Luca took the keys from him and opened the door to the driving seat while Hugo sinked in the passenger seat. His skin was overheated with all the exertion and warm in the club and the AC felt cool.

My insides practically dancing in utter happiness as it meant I got to play. “Does that mean we solved one of our problems then?” Arching an eye over in my direction does Lucus move to sit back down with a sigh. Exhaustion hitting him even as he speaks. “Fucking Stefano, along with a few of our own, decided to switch teams. Decided that Luigi was a better choice.”

He knew that he couldn't trust Luigi, not after what he had done, but he also knew that he couldn't afford to let him win. With a steely glint in his eye, Antonio raised his gun, his finger tightening on the trigger. "You'll never get away with this, Luigi. I'll see to it that you pay for your betrayal, no matter what it takes." But before he could pull the trigger, a shot rang out from the darkness, echoing through the deserted streets of Chicago. Antonio's eyes widened in shock as he felt a searing pain rip through his chest, his world spinning out of control as he collapsed to the ground, his vision fading to black.
