From what I could see in the dim light of the setting sun, this was a farmhouse. A bit small but it was gorgeous. Various kinds of flowers lined the driveway and there was even a huge vegetable garden and a small fountain. And with Christmas right around the corner, the whole place was decorated with tiny fairy lights. At least I thought this was for Christmas. “Let’s go in, shall we?”

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

His right front leg was worthless. Gary was watching from his cell, feeling he was in the fight through his bond with Paul. But Paul was losing ground. He was on three legs now and the two black wolves were making headway. Gary sent an order through their bond. "Paul, lure them into the cell." He could see the understanding on Paul's face.
