Colby rubbed his face, frustration etched on his features. "The book I'm talking about is...dark. Dark romance." I cocked my head, signing, "I do read that. Why? What's wrong?" Colby's eyes seemed to bore into mine. "Then you might know...have you ever had any fantasies? Like, reading them, did you ever imagine..." He trailed off, his gaze intense.

I nod and place the book down, I struggle to read the back from boredom so I doubt I will read the book. "Need suggestions? I'm happy to help." He smiles at me. Horror, thriller, romance, smut, sci-fi, I'm sure you know the rest." He smiles and I shake my head, I don't, that's another issue. This is the first bookstore I have been to, the books before were for learning, not stories.
