Pasukan Penjaaga Keamanan Metaverse (PPKM) bekerja siang dan malam hampir tiada henti untuk memusnahkan Bugs yang mengganggu kehidupan di Metaverse. Kalau hanya itu saja kejadian yang menimpa Metaverse, pasti Arun akan tetap santai-santai seakan tidak terjadi apa-apa, soalnya hal seperti sudah biasa terjadi di Metaverse. Tapi kali ini berbeda, Arun dituduh bersekutu dengan dalang dibalik New Bugs ini. Arun yang hidupnya biasa saja tiba-tiba menjadi roller coaster, gali lubang tutup lubang untuk menutupi kebohongannya agar alibinya bisa dipercaya. Duduk perkaranya, Arun bersumpah dia tidak bersalah, tapi peliharaan barunya yang dia ambil dari daerah Gurem, memang agak mencurigakan. Apalagi ditambah Laksamana Bayanaka, orang nomor 1 yang sangat terpandang di Metaverse, mencurigai Arun dan selalu mengawasi gerak-geriknya. Gawat.

Niken itu sekilas nampak sebagai wanita biasa yang misterius dan tidak banyak dikenal saat memutuskan untuk tinggal di sebuah unit rumah susun biasa. Perkenalan dengan Dimas dan kejadian-kejadian aneh yang menyertai membuat rahasia masa lalunya perlahan terkuak bahwa dirinya adalah sosok yang tengah dikejar oleh sekelompok bandit dibawah pimpinan Nikolai, seorang penjahat jenius.
