She saw Adrian and Lincoln standing quietly on the deck while more than twenty ships surrounded NS Trinaga from all directions in a three-thousand-foot ring. These ships had Black Nergal’s flags on them. “They’re here at last,” Mya said upon witnessing the scene before her. This was the situation that she had feared. Yet, what was the point of being worried? It was upon them at last. She looked toward Adrian and asked, “What should we do?”

His straw-colored, slippery hide briefly clung to the silver planks as he leaned over the stern. Gildeon glanced below the ship, wincing at the destruction he hadn’t realized he’d caused. The boat was split in half, mast and sails down. The entire vessel was sinking slowly. “Wasn't that the plan?” he said with a hesitant smirk, scratching the side of his face with a dragon claw. “We don’t need it anymore.
