Ghosted The next day I woke up feeling a little bit better, I took up my phone to check what time it is and I saw 7 missed calls from Julian, I totally forgot to call her back yesterday. A new message arrived, so I went back to the message area and saw that the mysterious person was online. Phantompurse sent you a message ‘Hey, you're online but you didn't even reply to my last messages. Are you ghosting me?’ Do I look like a ghost? Damn this person. The ghost icon that indicated the other party was online wasn’t even there which meant the person had likely not open his chat. Another two minutes passed with Asher just staring at his laptop, he jolted towards the laptop when he saw the ghost icon appear. The icon stayed still for another two minutes and Asher’s stomach twisted in knots at the anxiety of waiting, the other party finally started typing and Asher’s anxiety decreased. winkyelfofaer: redsun? Irena pointed at a silvery button on the side of the robotic suit’s arm. “What the f#ck is Ghost Mode?” Mark asked with a slight raspy irritation in his gravelly voice. “Ghost Mode is a feature that will allow you to become untouchable, but only for five seconds,” Irena explained. “After pressing the button, the suit sends out a magnetic pulse that will disrupt the electrical charges between the atoms in your body, making you a spirit for only a few seconds. You’ll be able to walk through walls or walk through punches, but only for five seconds. And you’ll only be able to use the Ghost Mode feature twice.”

“Ghost.” My body stiffens immediately.
