I don't know what the hell was going on because none of Dylan's secretaries presented me with his today's schedule. Ghino moved out of his seat shortly and stood in front of them and beamed. "Before we start this meeting, please, allow me to introduce someone to the family. My girlfriend, Elaine Fisher." Ghino beamed before he reached out to my hand again. "And she will become part of this family soon. I am marrying her." Everyone's eyelids drooped, especially Maureen, in disbelief while looking at me. Several long curved lines were written all over their faces as though the announcement made a drastic explosion.

DEVYN’S POV When Gina was done eating, I let her take a glass of water herself. I watched her carefully, my heart beating against her back as I pressed my body into hers. I know I was invading a lot of her personal space but I couldn't care less. I wanted her close to me, I needed her body pressed against mine, whether she wanted that or not. I wasn't joking when I told myself I wasn't going to leave her or let her leave. The death was taking a toll on her, more than I thought it would. She seemed lost in her thoughts most of the time, and her eyes would get glassy occasionally as she tried not to cry.

While me and Ginny are in the passenger’s seat. “How are you feeling, Ginny?” Drake asked as he took a napkin from the car’s compartment. He gave it to Ginny which she gladly took to wipe off her lips. “I didn’t know… I feel dizzy and I can see all your veins. I can smell your blood and I’m craving for it,” she said. I glanced at Ginny and saw her hands still trembling. Knowing that she’s still craving, I believe she’ll hunt more later.

"You were just as beautiful then as you are now. Though I think I was even more of a nervous wreck than Toby was tonight. I’m pretty sure my heart was trying to exit my chest." Ginny, perched on a high stool with her feet tucked up to ease the swelling in her ankles, let out a snort and nudged Jax with her elbow. "At least Fennigan spoke actual words. Jax here just prowled around me like I was a particularly interesting piece of steak he was trying to decide how to cook."

I pleaded, my voice breaking, “Did… did I do something wrong? Did I hurt you without knowing? Why did you want me dead?” Ginny’s face hardened. She looked at me, her mouth twisting in a sneer, and let out a cold laugh, “Oh, Rhea. Stop pretending. If I knew that you wouldn't die and you would come out from that coma, I would have bribed the nurses to kill you in the hospital. Then, none of this would have happened. I would still be the daughter of a rich man but you took that all away from me! You took my life away from me! I'll kill you! I'll fucking kill you! Ahhh!” A wild look of desperation and fury contorted Ginny’s face. She lunged, her hands like claws reaching for my throat. I stood f
