The Moonstone glass crept past Leo’s knuckles, a jagged, translucent frost that didn’t just coat his skin—it replaced it. I watched the gold-veined quartz harden over his small fingers, sealing his reach into a permanent, unyielding arc. He didn’t scream. He didn't have the lungs for it. He was eleven years old, and he had just signed away his right to move so the mountain wouldn't drift into the void. Ga-chi. Ga-chi.

The two vampires laid back and looked up at the top of the dome. "What are we looking at," Maxim inquired. "Just watch," Esper whispered in response. The floor lights turned off, leaving them in the pitch black. Soon, little specs of blue light started twinkling in the water's depths, coming closer to the dome. As their eyes adjusted to the darkness, Maxim stared in awe as he saw that the light was coming from a bioluminescent squid school. The school danced around the top of the dome before scurrying off. What soon replaced them was a much larger glowing squid. It swam closer, wrapping its appendages around the curve.

She could hear Blake approaching, his footsteps crunching the rocks and driftwood. “Hold out your hand,” he said. She opened her palm, waiting, curious. After a moment, he placed something cold and damp in her palm. She opened her eyes and looked. She gasped. He’d inserted into her hand the most beautiful piece of sea glass she had ever seen, completely smooth, worn by the waves of the Hudson. It was a vibrant rose color, and seemed to glow in the fading sun. Sea glass. Somehow, it felt meaningful to Scarlet, like it brought back memories. Although of what, she didn’t know.

The stone wolves below turned their heads towards her. “Ayame.” She stopped. “I heard someone.” The water beneath the glass rippled. Hayate raised his pistol. “From where?” “Below us.” I placed the crown fragment into the altar.

How about a fire stone that blasts them quick and easy?’ Rex amused to himself, thinking of one of the weapons from a video game he played, putting his hand out in front of him, palm up he said, “Fire blasting stone thanks.” “Very well.” His smile was wiped away when an orange glowing stone was now sitting in his palm, ‘This can’t be real, I just said something from a video game.’ Clenching his hands around the stone, he was shocked to notice the stone was warm to the touch, ‘Oh shit.’

She nodded slightly before peering deeper into the store. " There's an arcade game at that corner over there. Want to play?" " Uh... Sure. " " You have a penny?" " A few coins." We walked over to the arcade and she slotted a coin into it and soon the arcade popped to the life. It was just a regular game, nothing fancy, but she looked good at it. " You know how to play?" If you’re lucky, you can even get suet white jade or even imperial jade. But If you’re out of luck, then you might end up with a low-quality agate stone..." I can know what most of the upgrade does just from their name except for the Curved claws and Suction skin. [Curved claw: Makes the claw curved to help in climbing walls, to get more grip and impaling] [Suction skin: Form suction cups on the skin to help stick to the surface of any solid and improve stealth] Not what I had in mind but it's okay. The number next to the upgrades must be their cost I think...hmm can I stack two skins at the same? One way to find out. [Do you wish to upgrade to Suction skin and Light skin]
