At almost three times the goblin's height, he towered over the cowering, pathetic creature as he stretched out his legs to hover above. "Chant?," Damon snarled. "What the fuck is this? Explain yourself, before I rip your throat out too." The goblin stared up at him, her beady black eyes wide with terror. She trembled, her throat working as she swallowed hard. "My liege, I am so sorry," she stammered. "I never meant for-for my participation to go this far. I only wanted to capture the witch because her clan is a threat to hers !"

Whoever this sorcerer is, I suspect he’s related to the late Guido Regis. Guido once confided in me about a half-brother, born from his father’s affair with a witch. He never gave me a name, only the fact that this brother was half-Lycan, half-sorcerer.” The group exchanged uneasy glances.

He wore the dark robes of the Dark Sorcerers, and on his gloved hand gleamed a pitch-black ring identical to Dorian’s. “That hybrid wolf pup,” the sorcerer hissed, his voice like stones grinding together. “Dalila, watch out!” I shouted. But it was too late. With a casual flick of his hand, the sorcerer released sharp ice shards. They shot after Dalila as she reached for Elijah. Her head slammed into the stone fireplace before her body crumpled motionless
