A tall man appeared behind the door with a small smile curving his lips upwards. "Sorry for interrupting. But we thought it best if we checked on your progress, sir," the man said. He smiled brightly at me, but I could immediately tell by his cold blue eyes that there was no warmth behind the smile. "Who are you?" I demanded angrily as he approached, glancing quickly between the boy and the man with suspicious eyes. He tilted his head slightly, looking confused. "My name is Roger. I am one of the most respected members of the organization and one of the top agents working for the organization, if not the top agent. It's nice to meet you."

I say as evenly as I can. An icy look of fear flashes on Roger's face, and I tilt my head to the side. I give him a blank, emotionless stare as I wait for him to break. "Okay, okay. His name is Hugh. He was a rogue, but he was allowed to join Riverstone. He is part of our group," Roger all but yells out. "And what group would that be," I ask before tilting my head to the other side. I slide the knife down his stomach, and his breath hitches.

Roger said furiously, grabbing his father by the collar of his shirt. “Roger, let him go.” “I’m done waiting. Roger said, reaching him and putting his hand on Kendrick’s shoulder. “Good. You just need to talk sometimes. I know that’s tough for you.” Kendrick said to him with a smile. “I’m sorry brother.” Roger said softly, stepping into him for a hug. Kendrick went to hug him back but at the last minute Roger grabbed Kendrick’s neck and with one swift motion jerked his head to the side. A loud bone snapping crack radiated around them. In that one quick minute Roger snapped his neck. Kendrick didn't even have a chance to fight back. Roger let go of Kendrick and Kendrick’s body hit the cold hard ground, the sound bouncing off the walls of the alley.
