Average Jane |Lesbian Story|
Lucy was reading a very thick book.
"Hey," she said when they saw each other. Lucy was smiling brightly as Jane walked up to her.
"Hi," Jane said after she sat down. They shared a moment of awkward silence.
"Umm...so have you memorized the multiplication facts?" Lucy finally asked.
"Huh?"
"The multiplication facts," she repeated. "Have you memorized them?"
"I have to memorize?"
"Yes, you have to know them all by heart."
"Geez, do I?"
"Of course!" Lucy said, looking at Jane like it was the most obvious thing in the world, that everyone should know it before they were even potty-trained. "That's your first step of doing the math. It's like the golden ticket to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory."
