Against the Wind

Against the Wind

The moment I opened the chat, another message popped up. [Go downstairs to the hardware store and buy me a wrench. Gem doesn't have one.] I stared at the two messages for several seconds. So… He had not noticed I wasn't behind him at all. He had only noticed I was gone because he wanted something from me. I scrolled up through our chat history. Every message had something to do with Gem. [Give Gem the skincare products your coworker brought you from overseas. I'll buy you another set.] [Gem said she wanted coastal cuisine for dinner. We'll go together after work later. I already made a reservation.]

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

They moved stealthily, senses heightened, listening to every rustle, every whisper of the wind. Suddenly, Lyria stopped, tilting her head as if catching a distant melody. "Do you hear that?" she murmured. The others strained their ears, and faintly, ever so, they could make out a haunting chant carried by the wind. The words were indecipherable, but the melancholic tone was undeniable. "That doesn't sound like any summoning ritual I've ever heard," Zephyr mused, brows furrowed. "It's an old dirge," Nocturna said, her voice distant as memories clouded her eyes. "A song of mourning from ages long past."

Supreme Emperor of Swords

Supreme Emperor of Swords

It placed their missing feelings and comfort on the dead. The Sage of Great Thunderclap Monastery, Golden Cicada, had also appeared in the Swordsmanship-seeking Sect. He sang as if he was reciting the Life Incantation. The Sanskrit verses covered the sky and the Buddha's light shone on them. So they could go beyond the cycle of rebirth.

The Golden Luna

The Golden Luna

“But I hear she is wolfless. How then can your wolf be drawn to hers?” I met his gaze steadily, refusing to waver. “I’m led to believe her situation is temporary,” I replied. “She is a Golden Luna, after all. The lateness of her wolf—it’s merely an eccentricity. One I hope to rectify and utilize for our benefit. As my pack seeks to rise again, I hope we can continue to count Pack Darthrow as our firm allies.”

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

ASHES OF THE LUNA QUEEN

“Then by the gods who abandoned us, By the stars who watch in silence, And by the people who still dare to hope Let the Queen rise.” The crown touched her brow. And the moment it did, The blood curse vanished. A wave of light swept across Nightwind. And from the trees, A howl rose. Low. Ancient. Reverent. The wolves of Nightwind bowed. One by one. Even Aria. Even Theron. Until only Liora stood. Crowned. Called. Unbroken. But far across the world, In a temple that no longer has walls, A man opened his eyes. Golden. Cruel. Eternal. He smiled. “Now the game begins.”

The Late Winds of Love

The Late Winds of Love

She spat out the words, "Zack! Are you really going to go this far just to spite me?" The office desk was already old and uneven, and with that slam, a metal box on top rolled off and popped open. "Huh? Paper cranes?" Quilton reached out to grab them. I quickly rushed over to gather the scattered paper cranes. "Are you still lying? Do you think seeing these paper cranes will make me forgive you? Don't be so naive!" Melissa's gaze flickered slightly, but her words remained icy and harsh. Quilton was quicker and picked up the box. As he toyed with it, he mocked, "Zack, don't tell me you've spent the past five years repenting by folding these paper cranes every day?"

Alora's Windsong

Alora's Windsong

Then we felt Storm's hand join ours, and his tiny voice rose high above us like an angel's song. We didn’t realize that Beth was at the door with tears in her eyes. The mountain sighed, but something under it groaned. He knew that we were growing stronger and would never be separated; he had to take us all if he tried for just one. Kira was preparing potions when she felt the high vibration of a magical windsong being sung; her ears perked to listen. Windsongs were rare and most beautiful; they were songs of the soul, from one mate to the other. Not many had the gift.

GOLDEN HEART

GOLDEN HEART

I screamed then turned and walked to the gate. "I should find him," I whispered then walked out. I moved on the streets with blurry eyes, my tears couldn't stop from falling. "Lewis!" I screamed loudly as people looked at me like I was crazy. I took off my high heels and threw them down then continued to walk while calling his name. "Lewis please if you can hear me come out!" I screamed loudly. "I'm sorry okay, I will quit work, just come back home," I cried loudly. I was about to make a turn when a car stopped next to me and Becky came out.

The Alpha King's Rejected Mate

The Alpha King's Rejected Mate

We all sat around the pyre on the cold snow with our legs crossed and palms joined watching the flames inundate Xerxes's corpse as Gwen invoked the spirits of the moon to accept his pure soul and soon a calm wind blew giving us the signal to shift into our wolves. We shifted immediately burying our paws in the soft snow flakes, the wind blew over Xerxes's ashy pyre carrying his ashes, gathering them in it's wake and then blowing into the forest setting a trail for us. Spyro let out a howl in it's direction and immediately he led the pack following the wind that carried his remains with just the full moon light guiding us, our paws hit the ground raising snow as we trotted within the forest h

Absolutely enjoyed this book! The torture & rape scenes do make me cringe & so not suitable for anyone who get triggered by them. Apart from that, the twists & turns of the story just keeps you hooked and with such unexpected good twists! Well done author! Must read! Highly recommend!
