Bent over with my hands on my thighs I could feel my energy slowing being sucked out of me. My knees were scraped and bleeding beneath the expensive ivory coat. “Great, just great,” I muttered, limping toward the door. “You better not leave a scar.” I followed him into the silent mansion. Then tears started getting to my eyes. “No.. This is nothing compared to the past” I will not cry.

3rd Person's POV Flowers were thrown left and right as the coffin slowly goes down the ground. Sound of sobs, weeps, and loud cries are heard around. Gabbie is holding her mother who cannot be calmed as she is draining herself with her nonstop tears coming out. Gabbie was sitting silently as she stare at nowhere. She cannot even realize that her tears are flowing on their own and wetting her cheeks. She doesn't understand any of the happenings. It was too fast and she can't ride on it. She must be walking too slow.

"Listen to me, whatever happens I want you to stay strong, I want you not to give up and keep fighting, I love you and my son so much,I wish we got to live as a family" She begins to sob "why are you talking like this, stop it you're scaring me" suddenly he stops and falls on the ground She screams his name and cried "wake up!! Wake up don't do this" "Sorry but he took your place, am as sad as you are trust me, couldn't even get what I want" the Goblin left her to grief

I wanted to rip the fabric off, wash my skin until it burned, anything to feel clean again. But I couldn’t. The dungeon was damp. I had nothing here except the chains on my wrists and ankles. No water. No cloth. No comfort. I pulled at the iron cuffs until my skin burned, but they did not move. I broke. I covered my face with my hands and cried. My sobs filled the dark. My shoulders shook. My tears dripped onto the floor, mixing with the filth around me. That was when I heard him. “Why are you crying?”

And yet… Gallahan unknowingly managed to dispel that stormcloud with just a simple yet candid compliment. “I…” I tried to say, but my throat was closing up as emotions swelled up inside me. Tears sprung in my eyes, and I didn’t quite know what to do with myself. So I precariously placed my glass on my lap, looked up at the ceiling, and harshly dug the heels of my palms against my misty eyes. “Hey, are you crying?” Gallahan’s voice sounded closer, and there was a tinge of urgency there, mingling with his gentle concern.

I almost vomit from the stench of its breath, my stomach curling uncomfortably. I can feel my nose hairs burning. Lifting my gaze slightly, I lock eyes with the yellow, menacing eyes of a large Goblin. Its wrists, neck, nose, ears ankles all cuffed in pieces of stolen gold. Its inky black body hovers over me, and I try not to react too harshly. "Valerie, warp to me," Jaxson growls through our mind-link. I try not to flicker my gaze to him again, keeping my fearless watch locked on the Goblin.

The spasming was instantaneous, red mist flowed from him in waves despite the incessant curses and occasional screams that came from him. "She will kill you all!" He roared with finality.
