Mama Mariah sat hunched over her reading desk, her eyes dim but alive, tracing the words as if they carried breath. Little Dawn and Mama Wrenlow sat across her, listening. Mama Wrenlow's lips moved softly, reading aloud to the silence: "And among the howling packs and chained hearts of segregated omegas, there rose one who feared none - the Omega of the Frosted Wind." She paused, her fingers trembling slightly before turning the brittle page.

We were far enough in the event to be even heard by anyone. “Eloise lost her child.” He said. There was no hesitations to talk in his voice and I knew there is absolutely no way he is lying. And to think that it was all said and done with a straight face was enough to make me feel frightened. The child that I would want to use against Cedrick… the child that would grow to wield powerful skills and abilities because she was born from an alpha and an omega, the hybrid child that would secure me the title of being the next alpha.

He started with Alpha and gave a vivid description of how they are, oblivious that Harold's father was one and all things being normal, he was meant to be ascend the position next. When he was done talking on Alphas, he talked a little on the characteristics an Alpha's wife, a Luna, was meant to possess. When he was done, he spoke on the Betas and spent another fifteen minutes talking on Deltas. By the time he reached subtopic ‘Omega’, the class was almost entirely over. He then went on to talk on a wolf which they all possessed before the class came to an end. “What is it like being the pup of an Alpha?” Chloe asked as she and Harold walked out of the classroom.

He begged, stepped away, and cried for it to stop but instead it suddenly shaped into something else. A face, it took the face of that weak omega he discarded, the daughter he never cared about. The blood, he never acknowledged. He couldn't understand what was happening, that woman! She was a weak omega, how could she have the power to destroy his life worth work in a snap. She smiled like an evil witch, and soon laughed loudly, there was no body, just a gust of smoke taking a shape of that face. She whispered staring at his terrified face with a satisfied evil grin, "You're finished, father."

Charlie mumbled and I could hear the grinds turning as she tried to recall when they joined. "Let's just go with that," I said as my brain started to ache, "which is more then enough time to get used to this shit. Besides how nice could their old pack have been? An omega's purpose is to serve, it doesn't matter where you come from, that kind of existence is bound to be shitty. And, it's not exactly hard to be considered nice when next to our pack. Rage and disgust were painted on the young face she used. "Y-you are...?" Omnibus tried to open his mouth. He, too, was also dumbfounded. But his heart was pure. He didn't even have any thoughts of disgust toward me as he already knew that I was an Omega of this pack. But a feeling of homecoming and satiable attraction lingered in his presence. It filled my nostrils and made a heavenly scent that never smelled before. It was sweet and harmoniously hazy. It was a touch of vanilla and lavender. I couldn't help but close my eyes as I inhaled a lungful of his addictive scent. It was too empowering that I had forgotten what kind of situation I was in.

"She's not just a witch anymore." "She's a hybrid," Noah said, backing away. "The spell... it woke the wolf trapped inside her." Opal slowly sat up, her body moving like liquid light. She looked at each of them in turn, her gaze both intimate and infinite. "I see everything now," she murmured. "Time is unraveling. Worlds are colliding. The old gods are watching.
