BACKSTAGE ROMANCE.

BACKSTAGE ROMANCE.

And I hadn't been there for it. The trip from discovery to stage for Gordon's plays hadn't been terribly long, all things considered, but a global recession does tend to noticeably reduce the number of theaters willing to take a risk on an unproduced, decades-old play by an unknown author. After months of hunting, begging, and cajoling, Scott had finally lined up a prospect on the East Coast willing to gamble on back-to-back productions of Gordon's masterpiece—the trilogy Lamps by Day, Likeness of a Sigh, and A Grave Man. Scott's charm and persistence had paid off again when the theater in my hometown, where Daniel and I first met, agreed to take on the gender-bending comedy Queen Mab only a

Falling, Fallen.

Falling, Fallen.

Roy shifted nearer to Jeremy and waited for the next announcement. Soon the same man as before went up the stage and announced that the stage play by the drama club will begin in a couple of minutes. The curtains rolled in and many whispers came to Roy's ears. A particular nasal voice caught his attention. The person was definitely trying her best to lower her voice but unfortunately her voice just didn't fit to be like that. "This drama is going to be super cool." The voice said and soon another announcement silenced the chattering audience. The narrator from the stage first announced the drama name―which was probably named 'The Wings of the Dove by Henry James'.

Lady Boss, You're Too Much!

Lady Boss, You're Too Much!

“Oh Roliet, Roliet, wherefore art thou Roliet? Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love…” Maya noticed that Quinlynn was blankly watching the drama in a daze. Smiling she said, “What do you think Quinlynn? They are good at acting right?” “What’s the drama is called?” Quinlynn asked Maya with an awkward look. “Although I know you’re unusually misinformed. Even if it’s you I won't forgive you that you don't know our greatest playwright Milliam Shookspeare. The Drama club is performing one of his greatest work called ‘Roliet and Jumeo’. ” Maya angrily huffed at Quinlynn for not knowing this great man.

Once won't hurt

Once won't hurt

Everything about him was perfectly in place, and his gray eyes sparkled. We walked hand in hand to the entrance, where our tags were scanned. Above the large doors was a board filled with names and faces. The bold lettering read Love and Death—a play by Dominic Price, a famous writer. I usually avoided tragedy-comedies, being drawn more to romance and happy endings. I marveled at the splendor of the theater as we moved into the grand hall. The ceilings were high and draped in scarlet fabric, chandeliers hanging at different angles. The hall was so large that the stage seemed far away.

Naughty Nikki: A Billionaire Romance

Naughty Nikki: A Billionaire Romance

She’s speechless. I merely recap, verbatim, “The descent into darkness by an antihero in Macbeth. The comedic relief of Much Ado About Nothing. The intensity of Othello. The romanticism and tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, of course. And the magical fantasy of The Tempest. Then... There’s the madness of Hamlet.” “I—” Words apparently fail her. So I give a shrug and modestly say, “They’re not first editions or from the original Globe, but they are from the Globe.”

Fated (Book #11 in the Vampire Journals)

“They do it once a year.” “A show?” Scarlet asked, smiling. He could hear the excitement in her voice. Sage turned to her and smiled. “Your favorite play,” he said. “Romeo and Juliet. They’re performing it outdoors, just like they used to in Shakespeare’s time. They do it right at the edge of the Hudson River, with the sky and the mountains as their backdrop. It is the most powerful thing you’ve ever seen.”

Cryx complimented. They're praising me? Won't they think I'm a nerd or something? Won't they think I'm weird? "Yeah, thanks." "Guys, the play is starting," Caspian pointed out. The play started, it was entitled 'The True Rose'. I almost cried while watching Ione, she was such a good actress! She can portray the feelings and charisma of the heroine I wanted to embody, she was so breathtaking up there. Even the other people watching will agree that she has talent. The stage is all hers to own.

 LOVE OF TWO ERAS

LOVE OF TWO ERAS

After talking with Bevis Nathan for a while, Laura realized that they hadn't rehearsed the play for a long time, and Cara was always delayed, so he was not even skilled in his lines. The play that Bevis Nathan wanted to arrange at first was not "Romeo and Juliet", but Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". Although Bevis Nathan has never been abroad, he has received Western-style education in China, and his ideas are also new, and he strongly advocates equality between men and women. And Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" just created a few women with a distinct consciousness. Bevis Nathan also likes to use the form of drama to do some publicity. It's just that Cara insisted on arranging the show at the

"First of all, we would like to thank you for your support. We appreciate that you enjoyed our play. However, just to be sure, could you confirm that you booked our performance of Snow White? We want to make sure there hasn't been any mistake." Griffith replied, "We have money but not enough to save the world." Clearing her throat, Charlotte maintained her composure and continued. "I apologize if I gave you the wrong impression. Our theater's most popular play is Ms. Jessica's Looking West to the Capital. Are you sure you didn't make a mistake?" "Jessica?" "Yes." "I don't know her." Lucy could not help but burst into laughter. Several people followed suit. Jessica's face darkened, and she lo

I places the book I had in my hand and go to him. " I think you're really allergic to dust. I'll help you.", I say and take out a book from the upper row. The play is apparently Hamlet. " Oh..this is a tragedy play.", I say and read out the blurb to Michael. " Mm..it's interesting.", he says and takes it from my hand. I then take another play from the rack, which is Macbeth. I read it's blurb to Michael and he listens carefully. " It's also g..good. I'm confused which to choose. Hamlet or M..Macbeth ?", he asks.

I really hope something happens to these bullies and they get a taste of their own medicine. I hope that they get kicked out of school. Somebody needs to kick their ass. I hope Michael gets a freaking backbone and stand up for himself and Ethan is a piece of shit. This book makes me so angry.
