Miss Perfect and Her New Boss

Miss Perfect and Her New Boss

I answered and the meeting started again. "Can she be more unprofessional?" I overheard Belle say as soon as Sir Mitchel's door closed behind us. "I know right. She just had to space out in the middle of a brainstorming meeting. You know Belle, I've been noticing lately, I think she's actually trying to flirt with Sir Mitchel." Margaret said making all of them look my way as I was walking behind them. "Seriously Marge! That isn't even surprising anymore. Did you forget what happened with Sir Harvey? She needs another man to take her up the ladder." Belle said, finishing her annoying remark with a wicked laugh, enough to scare away the wicked witch of the west.

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

She's adored by all and sundry and her success is, mind-blowing but she still gets the most backlash, after all, people felt she got everything on a platter of gold courtesy of her mother being a very popular face. "You guys would be surprised to hear that the girl is a psycho real life. No, she's more of a witch than a psycho." Sophia's words piqued Aminah's interest again and she turned to look at her. "But she looks like an Angel in all her pictures and how she nailed all her roles. Forget her look in this shoot you guys did. She's..."

The Perfect Lie

The Perfect Lie

All that matters to me right now is Blake. I put my palm to his heart, feeling his heartbeat to make sure I was not dreaming. What magic has he had on me that I could not get out of this spell. He was heaven-sent, a prince in my fairytales, the paint in my canvas bringing vibrant colors to my dull life.

I love Tara... i feel her... I don't like Sadie... sadie does not deserve Blake...she is an unfaithful woman..selfish woman.. please don't take away Bree from Tara... please take Bree and her mother...
K.O.K.A.K
Blake is such a selfish bastard that you want to hate yet you want him to succeed to redeem himself for love…. Tara is a naive lass who you wish could be a little bit more cunning but that’s her charm. Needs editing but the plot and development of characters are great.

After class, Mukgu rushes to her apartment. She sat in front of her computer. Magic by Moonlight

Magic by Moonlight

I was at her side immediately, stroking the hair from her brow so I could look into her eyes. "Selene?" I asked worriedly. It took a moment for her gaze to focus on mine and when it did her eyes were back to the same brilliant green they were before. "You had me worried there for a second," I breathed. She sat up straight still trying to shake the dredges of her trance from her mind. "I'm ok," she assured me with a weak smile. "This kind of magic can be draining, and before yesterday, I never thought I had the capacity to try it."

Lycan Princess' Second Chance

Lycan Princess' Second Chance

" I remind myself why I came here in the first place. I didn't replace Alice because I intended to sacrifice myself and take her place. My magic has progressed quickly, even though I haven't been practicing. I close my eyes and allow magic to connect both of us, and when we connect, I see in his mind the person he intends to see. The person he wishes to see. And I become that person with minimal effort. As an extra touch, I convince him to ignore all that feels odd to him. This little encounter will slip from his mind completely and he will have no knowledge of it. It only lasts a few seconds.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

His words are meant to be pacifying, to help me calm down so I can focus. But the idea that my magic has changed sounds terrible. Especially when I just started to get a hang of the things I have been practicing. The magic I have been doing over the last few weeks has been all vicarious through Elena and Gentry. Or more accurately their magic has been vicarious through me. I have just been the filter since I have a magic filter or metabolism and can’t fight off most spells and incantations.

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

ALMOST PERFECT

ALMOST PERFECT

“Exactly. I like quiet.” She smiled at that, then pressed her hand against his chest. “You built quiet. You earned it.” That evening they cooked together—or tried. Lisa dictated instructions from the couch while Grey pretended to follow them. “You’re not measuring,” she said. “I’m spiritually measuring.” “That’s not a thing.” “It is if you believe in chaos magic.” “Oh, God.” The end result was edible, surprisingly. They ate on the couch while an old sitcom flickered on TV, laughter canned and harmless.

Hate You, Till I Don't

It didn’t work. “IMANI!” a voice rang out behind her. She turned just in time to see Nia jogging toward her, holding up her phone like it was a holy scroll. “You’ve gone viral,” Nia said, gasping slightly. “Again.” Ave groaned. “Oh God, what now?” Nia tapped at the screen, flipped it toward her. “Someone posted a slow-mo of you saying the last line of the pitch and added dramatic music.” Ave blinked. “They did what?”

she pouted. Before he could answer, his phone rang. He stepped away to take the call, his voice low, his back to her. Deli’s eyes followed him, her mind drifting. Her heart tugged. Was this real? Still, she told herself, she would enjoy this moment. When Chase returned, she searched his face. “Everything okay?”
