Renee's POV The ride back home with Ashley was smooth and so fucking enjoyable. We ate popcorn and licked ice cream as we sang Shivers by Ed Sheeran which was booming through the speakers in the car. Truth be told, Ashley is the worst singer I've ever met. Her voice is angelic but when she puts it into singing, it's so fucking terrible. A car pulled up beside ours and Ashley had to slow down and whine down the glass. We thought the man needed help or something but it turns out it wasn't close to what we had thought cause he started yelling at us for playing loud music while driving.

Perfect. In the shadows of the hospital room, Seraphina Holland watched Alysha intently, her eyes narrowing as she took in Alysha’s dazed, disoriented expression. The faintest smirk played at her lips as she stepped forward, her heels silent against the sterile floor, moving close enough for Alysha to notice her. Alysha’s gaze drifted toward her, confusion flickering in her eyes, but no recognition. Perfect.

Alissa shouted to me I came down the stairs while she was sitting in the living room with a large pizza on the middle table, drinks, candy and the TV on the page of the first Pitch Perfect movie. "Movie Marathon?" she asked me holding up the remote with a grin on her face "Of course!" I squealed and sat down next to her as we wrapped ourselves in the blankets and began watching the movies and stuffing our faces. By the halfway point of the second Pitch Perfect movie, Alissa was fast asleep with a packet of Skittles on her chest. I paused the movie for a bathroom break. I went to the bathroom and as I was flushing the toilet, I believe I heard a knock on the front door.

He gives me a curt nod. "Hi, I'm Sage.Beta of Moonstone charm, more beneficial than him" She points at Luciano before getting up. "Hit me up when necessary" She adds, ending her statement with a wink before walking away. "Follow me Elsa" Luciano says, turning his heels. The sound of phone ringing cuts through the air.Alpha Kane stares at his phone with a smile before answering it. "Zion, I heard about the success of your new project— The sound remained behind in the office as I shut the door and followed Luciano out of the building to his parked car.

We were having so much fun together and it felt too good to be true. “We are here, Ms.Albright.” Adam’s voice broke me from my trail of thoughts and I smiled at him. “For the hundredth time, please call me Ashley.” He gave me a small laugh and drove away. I still had ten minutes to enter the exam hall and decided to grab something to drink. I bought a coffee and started sipping on it when my phone dinged indicating a text from Jake.

The lack of response made her heart drop as she backed out. "Miss Alston!" Hearing the call, she quickly turned and ran back down from where she came from. The Mother Superior was waiting below the stairs, out of breathe, but Lily Alston's mind was nowhere else other than what she was looking for. She ran back down and past the elderly then stumbled outside biting her lip. "Miss Alston, please calm down!" She frantically looked around, but her face only grew increasingly pale. She saw buildings after buildings, swingsets after swingsets, statues after statues, trees after trees—all of which were now what she was looking for.

"Please what is there to be jealous about? I was stupid enough not to notice that they were perfect for each other and even insisted on breaking them up!" "I am glad that they ended up together!" Maya said. "Are you sure that they are perfect for each other?" Ashton asked. The way this little girl dissed people was unique. "Of course. What do you think?" Maya asked with a cunning look in her eyes. Seeing that, Ashton knew that she was digging a trap for him. He did not answer but lowered his head to kiss her on the forehead. "Hey, can you not be so…." "So what?" "We were talking about a serious matter!" Maya pouted her pinky lips.

"But... please, just hear me out." She looked through the windshield. The lights of the city blurred behind her tears. Daniel's voice echoed inside her head. **Love was never the point.** She let out a shaky breath. There was nothing left to protect, nothing left to wait for and nothing left to believe in. "...I'll do it." Silence. Ethan was shocked. He wasn't sure he'd heard her correctly. "What...?" "I said..." She wiped at her face with the back of her hand. "...I'll do it."

“Go in there and pack up. Leave right now. I have another chef who will do a better job than this rubbish you’ve done.” Ashley’s jaw tightens as she watches Nonna kneel, begging. But behind Ashley’s calm expression, something dark flickers. Ashley Knowles isn’t always this calm. She is called sassy and rude for a reason back in Desert MC.
