Goth Outfit Drawing Novels & Stories

I asked Nicole. She nodded. “Sounds fun.” “Okay.” Since Nicole was going, I would too. I wanted to be better friends. We both finished getting ready. Nicole wore mostly black with a skull motif on her shirt and boots. I had a simple gray skirt and a polka dot blouse. Together, we walked to the party. “I like your outfit,” I said, noticing that the little skulls on her shirt had cat ears. “Thanks.” She laughed. “My parents hate it. You should have seen their faces the first time I went full goth. I was grounded for a week.”

I flipped the next paper, and froze. I looked over at him sleeping soundly on the bed and looked back at the drawing. Why would he draw this? It was an image of a lady with a red cloak. He had colored her with red. Then she was surrounded by green bushes. There were small rocks around the area. But what caught my attention the most, was his illustration of the pool of blood on the floor and a small child drowning in it. It was definitely the nightmares. I flipped through the other papers and saw other strange but similar drawings. A red eyed owl. An old house. And the last one was a drawing of an ancient Greek symbol. I couldn't place what it was.

Nicole. “Heidi…” my heart softened as I dropped to my knees beside her. “I’m gonna put them back, I promise. I just wanted mum to stay here for a while.” One of her drawings rested ont he table too, almost covered by mum’s scarf. I pulled it from under there. It wasn’t the best picture but I could tell it was two older women with a child in between them. One of the women’s hair was done with a yellow pencil while the other was black, the child had tiny dots around her head to imitate hair, but what they all had in common was the yellow circles hovering over their heads and the triangle wings.

There was a black necktie laid out beside my blazer jacket too both of them with the Princeton emblem. A small smile lifted the corner of my lip as I looked at the black skirt and an idea popped into my head. A little modification can’t hurt, right? I wondered to myself as I opened a drawer and took out a pair of scissors and a pack of safety pins. Half an hour later, I held up my skirt and admired my skills. I had cut up the skirt on one side almost up to the waistband and then joined the cut halves with my pins for the classic goth look. I will top that up with my black fishnets instead of Princeton’s Mary Poppins socks.
