The Freak Is The Mate Of The Lycan
A sack of broken bones and torn flesh, I simply folded in on myself and fell.
"NO!"
Wendy broke her promise. She wasn't strong enough to catch me, she was a bird, and I was a falling rock, she lunged, wrapping her thin arms around my waist. She tried to take the impact, twisting her own body under mine. Her desperate cry turned into a sharp grunt as we both hit the stone floor in a tangled, agonizing heap.
I couldn't breathe. The impact stole the air from my lungs, and my ribs screamed. All I could manage was a low, wet, gagging sound, my face pressed against the cold floor.
