Harvey York's Rise to Power

Harvey York's Rise to Power

Kayden Balmer was mostly done with the interrogation. He learned that the main culprit was the John family. Other than that, Harvey York also knew about Joseph Bauer threatening the Celestial Temple. Since two forces were trying to make use of the Indians to take out Harvey… Harvey did not mind using the Indians to do the same in return. Harvey was excited at this point. If the Demon Monk, Cody Garcia, knew about the truth and the fact that he was being used, the show would be a lot more exciting.

Saved by the Alpha

Saved by the Alpha

“Harper, your mother tried to break the project. I helped her hide you. Then I got scared and went back to the men who promised power.” A pause. “I’m sorry.” My chest tightened. Herman. Another buried thread. “Talus is not looking for purity,” the recording continued. “He is looking for a human who can receive a divine name without their body rejecting it.” Harper stopped breathing. “The vessel,” she said. The recording crackled. “And he needs two heirs of Balance to open it.” Kael hit the outer door, and Elian cursed. Herman’s voice spoke the final words. “When he finds them, do not let the brothers compete.”

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

The silver doors groaned open. A man in a crisp, antiseptic white suit stepped into the hall. He carried a leather briefcase and a high-frequency scanner, smelling of expensive cologne and the clinical arrogance of the Global Biological Containment Agency (GBCA). Behind him, two soldiers in matte-black armor hovered, their rifles calibrated to the specific resonance of a White Wolf. The auditor stopped ten feet from the throne. He looked at me—at the statue of the Queen whose heart had flatlined to ground a god. He didn't see a Mother. He saw a 'Dead-Soul Variable.'

The Pack's Vampire

“You don’t normally do guys, Tal, or werewolves. And do I have to remind you that you have a mate?” “Hmm,” Talen blew out a breath. “More than one, it seems.” “What?” Tyler said in disbelief. “What did you just say?” “I encountered Heath Gale out front of Morgana’s house last night,” Talen explained. “And there was a connection. Different to Morgana, but I suspect that he has a mate connection with Morgana, and therefore is also mine.”

I didn't realize just how alluring an ancient vampire could really be until I dove into Talen's past and had my heart broken and stolen by the depth of soul in this character. Everleigh has such a gift for creating these characters with so many layers you can't believe they're not real.

The Pack's Dragon

The Pack's Dragon

“He’s stationed at Trayrock with Father Isaiah. They want Aislen Carter. She’s the figurehead of the supernatural rebellion order.” “I’m aware of that,” Talen pointed out. “Yeah, yeah…” The man’s eyes fluttered shut as he fought his way through pain. Talen suspected that their conversation would not last long before the man passed out. Initially, his heart beat had increased significantly as the body fought hypovolemic shock, but now Talen could hear it beginning to slow as the body surrendered to blood loss. “Talen Gawaine. You’re one of them. The ones on the list.”

Breaking Daddy's Rules

Breaking Daddy's Rules

Jamie wasted no time getting in the car and starting the engine, keeping his eyes mainly on the road as he drove. The drive was silent, and when we arrived at my office. He parked in the underground garage. I pulled open the door, and Sam the private investigator; who was standing outside, climbed into the back seat. He gave me a curt nod and I turned to look at him. “Have you been briefed?” I asked. Jamie answered, “Just a bit,” “What does that mean?” I asked, trying to find out if we were both on the same fucking page. “I know the dude’s name is Talon, he’s a therapist up north and is also not from around here.”

BLUE TALE (The Series)

BLUE TALE (The Series)

If he had access to books, maybe he could also find out more about this society; and possibly even a way to escape that didn’t involve being thrown out naked and defenseless. “Very well.” K'coba removed a tablet sized screen from the entertainment unit and showed Leroy how to access the menu and start the lessons. In addition to the screen, a device fastened around his forehead and curved into one ear. Before K'coba handed the screen to Leroy, he paused and added an additional choice. “The red menu is for the language used by the Imperial House… it is probably the most universal.” He gazed at Leroy thoughtfully for a moment. “The blue menu is for Albaza. Albaza is Almighty Xcott's native lan

she sneered, clinging to Walter as they followed the pair. Minutes later, Howard and Talia knocked on the door to Albert's office, stepping inside. "Grandpa, is what Tasha's saying true..." Talia started, but her eyes fell on Albert lounging on the sofa, a cigar in hand. "You have the nerve to come here!?" Albert cut her off, his voice a thunderclap. "What did I do in a past life to deserve you?" he bellowed. "You know damn well that kid didn't close the Mendorra Tower deal. And now you expect me to grovel? Absurd!"

Caged To Her Obsessive Alpha

Caged To Her Obsessive Alpha

[Gale’s POV] The world spins as I begin to slowly regain consciousness. "Oh, you’re finally awake." Tensing, I pry my eyes open and stare at the silver bars in front of me and the man that stands behind them. "You," I growl, attempting to surge forward but stopping when chains tear at my wrists. "Best to calm down." Talon chuckles. "Those are special. They tighten each time the wearer attempts to break free. If you fight too much, you’ll end up losing your hands. "
