Novel & Cerita Great Ridge Academy

But acting normal was becoming totally impossible. School was supposed to be my safe place. It was supposed to help me escape the heavy, tense feeling inside the giant mansion. Instead, school had always been just another battlefield for me. I went to Westridge Academy. It was a very fancy, expensive private school built on the edge of the city. It had clean, polished hallways and perfectly cut green lawns. The students there wore their family wealth like a suit of armor.

I had only caught glimpses of the school and its inhabitants, and my previous experiences with Briar and Liam had left me anxious. As we walked down the grand staircase, I couldn’t help but notice the intricate details of the architecture. High ceilings adorned with magical motifs, large windows that seemed to glow with their own light, and artwork that pulsed with a life of its own created an atmosphere that felt both enchanted and intimidating. “Windamere Academy is unlike any other school,” my uncle began, guiding me through the spacious foyer. “It’s not just a place for learning; it’s a sanctuary for beings like us. Still, the point of Divine Academy is to teach the students how to prosper and wield their gifts to their fullest potential. Miles and Herja need

Somehow… Those four words seemed to say everything I hadn’t known how to put into sentences. I looked at both of them. “So…” I clapped my hands together once. “What are we waiting for?” They both looked at me. “If your father mentioned someone who might know something…” I stood up. “Then let’s go find him.” The academy library was quieter than usual. Tall shelves stretched toward the vaulted ceiling, filled with thousands of books that smelled faintly of leather and old papers. We made our way toward the front desk. An older woman looked up from the ledger she was organizing. Round spectacles rested low on her nose. She smiled politely. “Good morning.”
