As the shirt he wore was left unbottoned, I could still see the deep mark on his chest where Alan had sqeezed his heart and I placed my hand on it. “ Does it still hurt ” I asked. “ Yeah, I can still feel pain it hurts like hell ” he said. “ I'm sorry ” I said and looked up to him. “ Stop blaming yourself, it wasn't your fault ” he said and I smiled lightly. I noticed the difference in him now, his eyes were no longer black but grey, they were no longer veins on his forehead and neck. “ Your eyes ” I said in shock. “ My eyes ? ” “ Yes, they are no longer black ”

It's probably the effect of the weed, or maybe we such good friends that we make each other laugh so hard? Nah, it's definitely the weed. "I'm pink," Ashley says, continuing with this little game. "Because of my hair." She starts to play with the ends of her mostly pink hair. "I'm grey, the color that's between dark and white," Kristen says. The color of twilight. Of ash. Of the space between light and dark.
