And set my shades on my head. “You good, Cuz?” He asks, curiously. He knew that I’d been looking for her too. I nod. He looks at me, skeptically. “You sure? Because your eyes are grey.” Oh! Shit. I have no idea why. But my eyes change color depending upon my mood. Grey when I’m horny. Green when I’m pissed off. Brown when I’m sad. And blue when I’m happy. I know, weird right? I give him a stern look, like: ‘Leave it alone, Vic!’ I put my shades back on. He throws up his hands in surrender.

From the center of the mist, a figure stepped forward. She was wearing a gown of grey silk that seemed to be made of falling ash. Her hair was no longer gold; it was a pale, dead silver, and her eyes were empty sockets filled with swirling grey dust. She held the Shadow-Shard of the Mother-Lode, but it was no longer black. It was the color of a cataract.

❦•: ZARA :•❦ His eyes were the colour of a storm cloud. A very dark and angry storm cloud. They were the most beautiful shade of dark grey I’d ever seen. Dark and piercing, like they could see through your soul. The subtle glow caught in his eyes gave depth to those beautiful charcoal grey, stealing every single breath from deep within my lungs. I couldn’t breathe. Yet, I couldn’t look away.

“You should take this one. The quality is pretty good, and it’s easy to use.” “Okay.” A grin spreads over his face, then he asks, “What color do you want?” “Ah…what do I get to choose from?” “Lime, silver, violet, and graphite.” My eyebrows draw together. “What’s graphite?” Tiny lets out an amused chuckle. “It’s a dark grayish color.” “Uhm…” I nibble on my bottom lip while I think about which one I should choose, then say, “I’ll take the violet one.”

He suggested. "Ok." She replied. "No that doesn't feel right. I dunno how I know, I just do." "Try grey." Jake replied. "Nope. That doesn't feel right either." Rae replied. "How about sable. It's like a mixture of brown and black." Jake explained. "Nope. Nothing." She replied. "Try white." Jake dared to suggest. "Hmmm." Rae responded. "Rae? Baby?" Jake was repeating. "I need to go to the woods now!!!" She replied.

Flashback continuation! I tense! Like really tense, but I still find the bravery to spin around in a sprint. Before me racks a giant in human form. His machismo freaks the hell out of me. It would appall anyone. And his eyes... Grey eyes? Really? I don't know whether it is their striking grey color that makes them come off so atrociously appalling, but they are a set of pools that I can't stand even for a second. I blink at them. His lanky gigantic contour is an additional peril to me. His whole composure exudes dreadful terror. Horror. Animosity.

“I’m dying.” “What the fuck?” The tone in Minus’s voice immediately shifted from anger to concern. I gasped, my hand reflexively covering my mouth. “I have CRC.” “What the hell is that?” Minus asked with a slight drawl. Evidence of his time spent in Savannah. “Jesus, Minus, you sound like a goddamned hillbilly,” Cutter said with a chuckle. “Colorectal cancer,” Warthog sang out, in a mock country singer voice, to a cheery tune that did not fit the lyrics.

She quickly pushed Jerry aside who looked disappointed, he scoffed sadly folding his hands. Erica bent over slowly since her baby bump was larger now. Their was a pile of human skeletons, she saw a little light beeping from them. She reached in between the skeletons shutting her eyes and grabbing what was there. She stood up moving away quickly from the skeletons. It was a phone. Her eyes lit up at once. "A phone..." she said in excitement. Jerry's eyes widened "a phone? How?" Erica ignored him and tried dailing Jerry's number but it wouldn't connect, the phone battery was very low.
