Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

" Summer said to herself while paying her respects. Her eyes were red and swollen. In the past two days, Summer had shed so many tears that she was almost blind from crying. Next to her, Joe sighed, and after a long while, he only said one sentence, "My condolences." Perhaps for Gale, death in Sea City was a rebirth somewhere else! She no longer misses anything here. Shawn stood in the middle of the mourning hall. His face was haggard, his eyes were black and blue, and the black suit made him tall and straight, looking like a tree facing the wind.

It's a good book. But it's too slow burn. So many chapters and still ongoing.... I wish for authornim to find conclusion to end this book. Hopefully a HE together for Shawn and Gale with their twins.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.

Fateful Collision

Fateful Collision

After a few moments, her father, Brett, and Noah's family got in the car with them all together. The only sound throughout the quiet journey to the cemetery was that of Greta sobbing quietly to herself. Gwen chose not to show her emotions in front of her father for a variety of reasons, some of which she didn't even fully understand herself. Gwen's existence had been marked by only a handful of funerals, including one for a woman who had passed away during childbirth, another for a small boy who had drowned, and the most recent for a baby girl who had only lived for a short period of time. Gwen had overheard people talking about the baby having horrifying birth defects.

Trapped Between Two Alphas

Trapped Between Two Alphas

“Want out of there, little girl?” The baby cooed as she flapped her arms and kicked her chubby legs. “That’s what I thought,” said the older man. “I’m getting lots of practice with my grandkids.” Out of nowhere, the thought that her dad had only had a handful of minutes to know that joy blindsided her. The grief that came with it was like a blow to the belly, stealing her breath and debilitating her with a pain that went beyond something she could fight with a pill. Without even thinking, she turned to the only team member who hadn’t spoken to her. At his side, he held a plush white teddy bear with a pink bow around its neck and Hallie’s name stitched on its little hat.

also the names! Its ok, id probably pay tribute as well if I were writing myself. I will say its a tad weird that I'm seeing their faces and hearing their accents, though. I usually fill in those details for myself as I read. except I think the "Original" Rebekah suits this character well. ...

Just my wondering how can you call this trap between Alpha‘s when going into book two Elijah is no longer mentioned? what I’m reading, she is with Cole and Caden doesn’t appear to be an alpha? When I first started reading it based on the title I was expecting Elijah Kol and Kat to end up together.

Encore with the Devil

Encore with the Devil

“She’s the reason I noticed your child before I even heard the song. Those ‘ordinary’ eyes to you? They’re the last thing I saw before she was pulled away from me.” Grief moves across his face like a shadow. It's not dramatic. Not performative. Just…old and raw and never given enough air. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small, scuffed player—old‑school, out of place against his suit. His thumb hovers over the button. “Listen,” he says. A soft click.

Rejected By My Mate, Claimed By The Alpha Twins

Rejected By My Mate, Claimed By The Alpha Twins

"She died the night you rejected her." The words settled over him like winter. "I didn't die physically " I continued, ". Something inside me did." My fingers brushed against each other as I searched for words to carry years of grief. "I spent months trying to become her." I smiled faintly. "It never happened." Roland looked still. "I cried for someone who wasn't dead." His eyes filled. "And one morning..." I glanced toward the large window where sunlight was stretching across the floor. "...I realized I wasn't mourning you anymore."

BILLIONAIRE HEIRESS' REVENGE

BILLIONAIRE HEIRESS' REVENGE

Love, Mom" When I finished, I pressed my palm to the page and closed my eyes. It wasn’t enough, but it was all I had to give. The grief didn’t go away. But it changed. I expected to feel better that night, but I didn't. The grief came in waves, crashing over me when I least expected it. Other times, it sat quietly in my chest, a dull ache. But through it all, Sebastian stayed beside me. We mourned together… The thought of losing Oliver hadn't dawned on me. I can't believe his tiny beautiful existence could just fade in no time… Fuck. This is one thing that would change me.

In love with my step father in law

In love with my step father in law

“When I was little, my mum and I would sit on the balcony during thunderstorms. She said the sky was telling stories.” He smiled, barely. “What kind of stories?” “Ones where nothing was really lost. Just… transformed.” That was the first time his eyes really met mine. And for a second, it was quiet in my head. --- There’s something about grief that makes you crave touch. Not sex. Not always. Just the closeness. The proof that you’re not the only one unraveling. That someone else is real enough to hold you together for a moment. That’s what it felt like.

The Ruthless Mafia’s Contracted Bride

The Ruthless Mafia’s Contracted Bride

“He bought a plane ticket last Friday and landed in Alaska. I’ve never heard of him before, but I plan on finding out who he is, and who sent him. I believe we’ll get a grip on the situation quickly.” “Okay.” Ivan disappears upstairs, and he stays a while. Hubert sets the table for lunch, and watches me as I gulp down an entire glass of water in one go. “Feeling alright, Miss Morelli?” “I’m not sure,” I admit. He smiles sympathetically, and then sits across from me. “I understand how you’re feeling. It’s not easy to lose someone you love. I’ve read somewhere before that grief is love that has no place to go, and nothing has ever made more sense to me.”

Ten Minutes to Grieve

Ten Minutes to Grieve

My boyfriend, Julian Vance, always said that people in relationships shouldn't use their partners as emotional dumping grounds. So he set a rule. I got ten minutes a day to unload on him. He said his job wore him out and he hoped I'd understand. I agreed. I even thought he simply had strong boundaries. Then my grandmother died, the woman who had raised me on her own. I came back from the funeral home still gripping the reading glasses she never got to put on. All I wanted was for Julian to hold me for a while. He sighed instead. "It isn't that I won't stay with you. It's that you've used up your quota for today." I asked through tears, "Can't today be an exception?" He said, "Once there's a

Cho stays back, watching as they commence covering the coffin with dirt and gravel. Halo Noel: It would appear that was the case. Lucian Slater: Just... be patient with him. He's older than Gael was when he lost his momma, so he got more years to grieve. Halo Noel: Gael is a social butterfly, but only when it is necessary. How did he break out of his stages of grief? Lucian Slater: It took a lotta patience. Maybe Jessie gon be the same, maybe not. Just, don't get discouraged or sad if you mess up here and there.
