The feel of ice cold water being thrown in my face snaps me out of unconsciousness. Groaning, I open my eyes to find a thug-looking guy holding a bucket in front of me. Behind him is the man I hate more than anything else. I instantly want to get up and beat the shit out of him but realize that my hands and feet are shackled to the chair when I try to get up. I try some more to free my hand. “You should be smart enough to know that that's fruitless.”

Scary. "Tsk, I really admire your bravery. But bravery won't get you nowhere if you aren't freed. Struggling is futile, she'll die for you anyway." He shrugged when we heard a breaking sound. And just when he though he had the upper hand, my man just broke free from his so-called chains. D*mn, that was hot. "W-What the hell..?" "He f*cking broke free from titanium chains! He's not human, he's a monster!!"

Both my wrists and ankles were shackled. My once-pure white wedding dress was now covered in dust. My makeup had long since smeared beyond recognition. The metal shackles were heavy, their edges sharp. Even the slightest struggle sent stabbing pain through my skin, as if it were about to be cut open. If I moved again, my wrists and ankles would soon start bleeding. Realizing this, I gasped for breath and stopped struggling. Not long after, the door opened. Mr. Holloway walked in, followed by two tall, muscular bodyguards.

“He will hunt me down anyway.” “Well, it’s either that or you rot in here for the rest of your life.” I snap. “I’ll take my chances with you.” He says finally. “Good. Now will you be quiet so I can work in peace?” I chew on my lip as I break the next bar. The noise is awful. I had Cain find this clamp for me, specially made for breaking reinforced metal and it cost me all the money my father sent me here with, and then some. It’s not like I had any use for all that money anyway. Another bar snaps and it coincides with a mighty thump from outside that makes me jump. Oh goddess, please keep him contained a little while more. The prisoner notes my movement and his head cocks.

“Hey, let me out of here!” The minute Clayton was conscious again, he started struggling from the handcuffs that was placed around both of his wrists and tied to the bed railings. He tried to break from him, using his strength but somehow, he could not. He started shouting from his room but there wasn’t anyone who came to check on him. “Hello?! I’m f8cking sure that you can hear me out there!! Get me out of here, you f8cking as$holes!” He shouted angrily. “I demand that you release me immediately or you will suffer the consequences!”

Then as I move my hand back down I take her hand and arm with it, making her drape it over my shoulder before moving that hand onto her back to hold her tight up against me as I then move and slide my other hand from the back of her neck. I slide it up her arm until I reach her wrist and again I slide my fingers between the shackle and her skin before pulling and breaking that one, too. I then bring that arm down to drape over my other shoulder, and then I continue to slide my hand down her body until I reach her thigh.

He hums a laugh, glances at Patton, and leaves, saying as he passes the door into Blake’s torture chamber, “I’ll be back soon. Think about making this easier on both of us in the meantime.” His footsteps recede down the hallway until silence hugs the space, and the echo of a heavy, likely guarded, door rushes toward me, confirming, I hope, that we’re alone. I shift to my knees to give my arms some slack, but suddenly the iron shackles give way, falling to pieces. My numb arms fall to my side out of my control. Patton’s, too, slump, and he rocks forward, wincing as the same tingles rip through his muscles as our blood supply returns.

I also can't tell how old he is. The guys have him chained to a metal chair with shackles on the arms and feet, holding him in place. The chair looks like it was stolen from the set ofThe Green Mile but I see why they needed it. The guy has so much muscle on him he could pulverize a man with just one look.

Suddenly, while they were still watching, I screamed "I'm Coming For You, Gareth! You Will Pay Dearly!" I shockingly broke the chain that held me. The shackle broke to pieces, leaving just the cuffs in my hands. The sound of the breaking chain echoed throughout the room. The guards got scared as they looked at me. They were really scared. I could smell it. I never knew I could smell. They quickly shifted and were ready for me. But like a stark razor blade transition, I suddenly fell to the ground, my body was weak.
