The Billionaire's Missing Heir

The Billionaire's Missing Heir

Gwen's cheeks trembled with fear as she stared at the woman in front of her. The fur coat, the red nails, the jewelry on her ears and neck, all the classiness from someone she hated with all her heart. "What are you doing here?" Gwen uttered the words with difficulty. "Are you not going to invite me in?" Mrs. Lane asked with a sneer on her face. Gwen sensed Stephanie approaching her from behind, but she didn't look; she was too busy trying to understand the presence of that woman in her apartment.

Greyson

Greyson

Mabel said politely, flashing the company credit card at the doorman, "under the name Greyson Elliot." The doorman nodded, "your 10 o clock is here, Vivienne," he said into a walkie talkie before ushering us towards a blue velvet sofa. We'd barely sat down when a bottle blonde in an impossibly tight black pencil skirt and a pair of shoes so obviously designer even I knew they cost more than most people's monthly rent with patent leather and the signature red sole came tottering towards us. "Mabel," She beamed enveloping Mabel in a tight hug. "And this gorgeous young lady must be Zoe?"

Alpha Kate

Alpha Kate

Standing up I walk over to grab a bottle of water, opening the bottle I take a long drink before I turn back and take my seat. “What do we know Gamma John? Have your trackers been able to find anything?” I ask. “They are still tracking her scent. It’s faint like they are using something to cover all their scents. We have the best trackers and as long as there is a trace of her, they will continue to track her,” he says.

Love this book. Poor Kate went through so much during the course of this book. She went from being rejected, having to postpone being made Alpha, to being challenged and attacked multiple times. I'm so happy that she finally got her mate, Colby, who seems to be amazing.

I love the long chapter at the start. but out of curiosity, how old is the author? theres a lot of slipping between first and third person which you usually see in younger writing. maybe ESL. i am yet to finish chapters 1 - 7 it will be an interesting journey

Thankfully my hair is all-natural, unlike Steph. "Are you okay?"I asked Carmen. We were sitting at the bar. She was calming herself down with her fourth gin and tonic. "I've never been better actually. She deserved everything she got after what she did to Ethan. All this time she was just as fake as her hair."She threw Stephanie's extension towards me on the bar and chuckled."I always hated her." "I think it's safe to say that she's not coming to your wedding now. She's probably already called Ethan and told him."

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.

If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.

So far today, all I've managed to do is stare at my computer screen with all our inventory. I've even read the note about a thousand times trying to reveal the sender. Why am I so frustrated? I can't concentrate on anything to do with work. It's a good job I have my assistant Maisie here to serve the customers and keep things ticking over. Surely the mystery sender should know what sending this would do to me? Why send it to me and not Charlotte's parents or even the Police?

he replied, heading out of the warehouse to his car, with Diana following. "Gabriella isn't an easy woman to catch, is she?" she snapped. "It won't be long until we have her," Wallace responded, starting the car as Diana gestured for him to take off. "Let's head back to the station, boys," she ordered, encapsulating the urgency of regrouping. Teca Company: A woman elegantly exited the elevator, clad in a long-sleeved blue shirt tucked into black pants, complemented by a jacket and blue heels. Her brunette hair was impeccably styled in a short cut, radiating both professionalism and sophistication.

STYGIAN

STYGIAN

Gloria said for what sounded like the fiftieth time. Her voice carried both frustration and exhaustion as she stood near the kitchen counter, clutching a dish towel like her life depended on it. “This is highly inappropriate,” she added. Raine stood in front of the stove wearing one of Paulo’s oversized shirts and a floral apron she had somehow found hidden in one of the kitchen drawers. Her hair was tied up loosely. She looked entirely too happy for someone being repeatedly scolded. “What exactly is inappropriate?” Raine asked while flipping pancakes. Mrs. Gloria gasped at the sight of her cuisine skills.

I soon heard their car leave, I heaved out a sigh. Did Gwen say anything to them? Or alert anybody or tell her friends, no she wouldn't. I will just wait for her to come back and question her then find a way to contact Tomas, My second hand man. I need to get over this sh*t as soon as possible, The children of ruins are getting comfortable. And I swear, I will make sure to fuck them up once I return. I fisted my hands. † † † I waited patiently for Gwen to come through the door after she closed up the bakery. She had changed her clothes from earlier, “Hey” she said as she entered.

You Had This Divorce Coming

She drifted to Lucille's side and nudged her, silently mouthing, 'Is that him? Lucille nodded. "Otto, let me introduce you. This is Gwen, my best friend. She's an interior designer." Otto smiled and extended his hand. "Otto Westbrook. Nice to meet you." Gwen stared at his hand for several long seconds before finally grabbing it. "Hi! I'm Gwen Taylor. I've heard about you forever. You were three years ahead of us, and by the time we got to school, you'd already graduated early, but your name was everywhere. The awards wall, the alumni board... you were basically a legend. You're so cool."

My Step-Brother Is A Vampire

My Step-Brother Is A Vampire

Third POV Gwen Astray was the perfect woman—kind, compassionate, and hardworking. A typical human living decently in the eyes of society. She’d been through one tragedy or another in her short life, the greatest, being the death of her beloved husband, ruled out as death by electrocution, even though nothing about Christian Astray’s death suggested that. The evidence should have been enough to pinpoint a suspect at least. But vampires were newly accepted into society, you see—one couldn’t have news like this leaking out to the public.
