Gwen’s POV Three years later. I stared at the woman in the mirror. Her eyes were darker now. Not in color, but in weight. Her brunette hair, once soft waves down her back, was now cut blunt just above the shoulders. Clean. Sharp. Easy to manage. Easier to hide behind. I was buried in a third-quarter sales report when something soft landed on my head. I looked up to find Gwen beside my desk, hands on her hips, wearing a mischievous grin like she was extremely proud of herself. "Gwen, what…?" I started, reaching up and feeling fuzzy fabric. "Christmas hat." She announced it with theatrical flair, like she was presenting a masterpiece. "It looks perfect on you." I couldn't help laughing at how pleased she looked. I pulled the hat off and checked it out. One of those classic red ones with a white pom-pom, probably bought at a department store nearby.

Gwen could look beyond the infinity pool towards the beautiful and colorful seaside landscape, which was both vibrant and relaxing at the same time. She then checked her phone, seeing some of the articles dealing with her marriage. She felt nervous about it, but there was nothing terrible about them. They tried to avoid exposure as much as possible during their Los Angeles wedding. But, of course, the press had somehow gotten hold of pictures, and Gwen had to admit the pictures were beautiful. She had worn a beautiful ivory dress and her long dark hair had been carefully combed. She had diamonds in her ears and neck. If there was one thing I could still hold on to, it was this. I was heading back to my dorm when I ran into Soren and his chosen. I had every intention of walking past without a word, but Soren spoke first. “Gwen,” he said, stopping me in my tracks. “I want you to meet my mate.” Something inside me went still. Kwen's POV: I drove a ways away before I pulled over. I was on a road, surrounded by trees. I needed to get myself together. I was still in my green dress and my hair was out. I'd be caught immediately walking around like this. I looked all through the cab of the van. There were a few bookbags. I looked through each of them. One had a huge zip-up hoodie, while the other had a really big shirt and joggers. Thank god these men were wolves!! They're huge by default, so I know I could put their stuff on. I stripped off the dress, tossing it over my head, putting the zip up hoodie on. It fit with extra space and the sleeves dangled over my hands. I rolled the sleeves up and threw the joggers on.

The place was quite cozy and safe. "Leave us alone now. Thank you..." A sudden voice caught her attention. It was indeed Gwen. She's so beautiful, gorgeous, and sophisticated in her look. She is wearing a white sleeveless with her cleavage shown, and on top of it, a black leather jacket. Down were tattered skinny jeans paired with knee-high black boots. Gwen's long flawless neck was shown even more because of how her hair was tied up. The lids of her eyes came to life because of the light makeup, and the eyelashes spoke of their length.
