WE'RE DESTINED

At precisely 6 am, the flag ceremony ended, and I was now on my way to class—numerous boys looking out as if I was a celebrity strutting in the hallway. I could hear the loud clicking noise from my heels.

What a wonderful day!

"Good morning, Baby Jaz .. How's your sleep?" A stranger man who knows me asked, probably because I'm running for valedictorian. Not to brag, I have been an ace student since grade school and am pretty famous, too.

I just bounced to him and then continued walking to my room. Only a few people were there when I got inside. Our professor was not present yet. As usual, they greeted me warmly.

Showing them my best behaviour, I went to my seat, sat down, closed my eyes, and started sensing the relaxed ambiance. It's like consuming the good vibes to start the day positively. I was shocked when I blinked to see another man. He does not belong here.

"Hi, Ms. Gorgeous! Finally, I've caught you up. Do you recognize me?" My eyebrows met, and I got confused. Are we close? And is he prominent for me to remember? I'm not rude, but bugs are everywhere, and I don't know why they keep wasting their time bugging me.

"Sorry, but I don't recall you .." I said, expressing my not-interest mode.

"Don't be so mean. I was at the library last time when you dropped your book, and then I picked it up and handed it to you." He said, explaining and sounding obvious.

My forehead crimped again because there was no such scenario. I'm not old enough to be forgetful, so I knew it. It's one of his ways of getting me. That is absurd.

"I beg your pardon, but I still have things more important to do, so if you may excuse me. You can find your way out, as our professor might be on her way now, "I said, trying not to offend him, but I couldn't help it. I was annoyed inside.

Why did he need to make up a story just to have the chance to talk to me? Is he that desperate? Oh, damn crap!

"What if I don't want to? I'm still in the midst of having fun talking to you." Irritation drew on my face again, but I still held back, preventing the volcano from exploding. I have a good image that needs to remain, especially outside. I don't want to tarnish my parents' reputation.

[ ANIKA HODGENS POV ]

Today is my first day here in my new school. I was transferred again because of a fight at my previous university. I used to bully weak people, being provoked by them for no reason, or perhaps I just turned my anger at them from my messy life.

For sure, I won't be in this school for long. I was almost late, but luckily I reached the flag ceremony—its strictness sucks.

If you are not inside during the ceremony, even before your class starts, you cannot enter but to the next subject.

I don't care if I get caught up in my first class, but I need to complete this year to proceed to college, so misbehaving is not an option and then, after graduation, I'm going to look for a job to leave with the support of my parents.

After the morning routine, I instantly searched for my room and got lost in this school's size.

Strolling in this new place, eventually, I found it. I was the only person inside until three people were added, and then a girl walked in, too, who grabbed my attention because they welcomed her.

I agree she's attractive, but nothing so unique for these dudes to get obsessed with. So for what, being so excited about, like... what's wrong with these creatures at this school?

I was sitting on my chair when my awareness went to the girl early again. There was this guy who seemed to make her irked. I just watched them unintentionally.

They were before me, so I could barely hear them exchanging words.

I wondered if this girl was stupid because it was apparent that she was disgusted, but why didn't she direct the guy to stop bothering her? I couldn't stand it anymore. After all, their noise made me upset.

I stand to approach them closely.."Hey! Can you see she doesn't like you? You're disturbing her! Are you in this class? If not, can you get out of here?" As I expected, I couldn't pull its tail back, and it started arguing.

Now I'm pretty involved with this mess. A spray of regret hit me.

"Who the hell are you to interfere? And you're crazy?! Wait, I just saw you today. Are you new here? But you're also lovely. Maybe you're jealous. You just want me to tease you instead?" I smirked, Knowing that my hardcore would detonate. He tried to touch my hand, but I had already squeezed his arm before he could do that.

He moaned in pain, but then he managed to detach from my hold.

"Fuck shit! .. mark this day, newbie .. I'll be back on you!" He yelled angrily. I can visualize how upset he was.

"Okay, I will be waiting .." I answered back with confidence, throwing him a sharp look.

After leaving, I returned to my seat and put the air pad on my ear to listen to music. I thought it was strict at this school, but why was the teacher late?

"Amm, Hi!" the girl from earlier greeted me, but I just moved my head and went back, fidgeting with my phone.

My boredom worsened, hitting me, so I thought of leaving the room, but then she held my arm.

I pulled out my airpad from my ear to hear what she needed to say, then faced her with a frown.

"Where are you going?" She asked. I raised an eyebrow before speaking. What the heck? Do I need to inform her?

"Why do you care?! Are you my mother ?!" I utter sarcastically.

Oh, this young lady also used to meddle, I think so. I even helped her drive away from the stupid man earlier, yet I got this.

Don't tell me she will cease me from fleeing because that won't happen. No one dares to order or stop me from doing what I want.

"Where are you going? There are rules in this section."

I smiled badly. Just now, I encountered something like this with regulations?! Oh, come on. Who the hell made such stupid restrictions?

"What the hell, Ms? Don't you love your life? Do you wanna die early?" I scare her with words.

"I'm Jaz .. Jaz Amanda. The class president .." She handed her hand, introducing herself.

Oh, I see. It all makes sense. This person is the same as the others as she appears angelic and caring, but I've learned not to be fooled. I'm confident in my ability to discern true intentions.

So hell no! Not in my jurisdiction.

These types of students who think they can influence or control everyone in their hands because of the damn role they have made me pissed off.

"And so? Who cares ?! I don't care .." I snapped, arching my left eyebrow and about to leave.
