A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

A CUPCAKE FOR MY WARRIOR-MATE

"It's a mighty and dangerous creature that feeds off on other beings. Once it sets eyes on you, it transmits the wavelength of your soul and breaks them down into dissonances. As soon as it sees the resonance of your soul, it will suck it up thereby making it more powerful." Germaine did not understand a word of the nonsense Ennie had just sprouted. Resonances and dissonances. Those were words that made absolutely no meaning to her. She was still reeling from the possibility of there being other creatures in this realm. As the Loa crashed further on, she looked to where Ennie shook like a leaf and asked. "Apart from werewolves and Loas, are there any other creatures in this realm?" Ennie nod

The Last Horned Queen

The Last Horned Queen

I was sure. I sighed and flipped it open again, running my fingers across the stiff old pages. The writing inside was tiny, neat, and definitely older than anything I had ever seen in Father’s library. Each chapter had illustrations of different beasts, creatures I’d only heard whispers of. Gargoyles, gnomes that were alive, serpent women and even sirens. None of these existed though… or did they? I could feel my head throbbing from an oncoming headache so I just shut the book and stared at the ceiling of my room.

THE WRONG TWIN FOR THE RIGHT ALPHA

THE WRONG TWIN FOR THE RIGHT ALPHA

He asked through clenched teeth as he effortlessly dragged the prey, which must have weighed at least 200 kg. “I don't know, maybe Devon, Klaus, or something like that,” I replied. “You watch too many shows.” He shrugged and growled. “You didn't know we existed?” “Creatures like you? We all know. I also know about the treaties between the species. I didn't know we could understand what you were saying,” I confessed, recalling my father's stories about our world beyond the city's borders. “There's a bit of everything, and the world is ruled by houses: wolves (first house), witches and wizards (second house), humans (third house), and undefined species (like the Fourth House). The classificati

The Awakening of Slave

Her voice broke. Shapes broke through the surface. They were unlike anything I’d ever seen before. And they definitely weren’t something that belonged on land. They emerged from the water. Their bodies were long and slick. Their jaws were too wide. Their teeth flashed as they snapped at the air and the shoreline. “What are those?” Thistle whispered. I didn’t have an answer. I had no idea what they were. “Some sort of water beast,” Korrigan said, his eyes narrowed. “I assume they were created for the game. They’re definitely not natural.”

A Wolf Affair (Book One a Wolf Affair Trilogy)

“It’s possible, but rare. It’s really only with those who were never intended to be a werewolf.” “You sound as if the werewolf was created like man was created,” I chuckled. “The werewolf is a species transplanted from another planet, as is the vampire and the elf,” she said with the smugness of someone who was all knowing. I sat in silence while I tried to absorb what she was telling me. As crazy as it was, I was actually beginning to believe it. “Can I pry a little?” Cindy asked. “Sure,” I said apprehensively. “I guess.”

“Yes. I got the idea from stories I heard from the otherworlders. Guns were only recently developed when the GWT took place. The equipment and weapons we have are a product through centuries of research. Even so, it seems the Scarletts were better prepared.” “Can your majesty explain more?” Rain thought it was rude but he had to ask out of curiosity. “Look at the snakes for example.” Guinevere pointed at them. “They are not actually living beings, but more like robots with organic flesh. A synth.” “Synth…” “It is like making a robot out of flesh, but instead of programming the commands or artificial intelligence, you just put a brain in there. We cannot replicate that with the technology we

Cause now we are dealing with the infamous SCHIZOPREN. Alkhun flinched. "What was that?" Alkhun wasn't able to answer immediately thinking what they should do at the next creature. "It was a dark creature." "A western Monster?" Amari asked, and ALkhun nodded. "A rare one, the B- Rank Monster that creates illusions depends on the immortal's memories. " Alkhun could feel the presence eat the back of those jars. Somehow creepy, out of this world presence, somehow familiar to him. "The ones who are usually found in Dark forest?" Amari asked, almost trembling.

As soon as we walk into the restaurant, I hear Citra, Jaiden, and Hawk deep in conversation with Bella, who’s back at the medic site. “Why are all these creatures circling the warehouse? It doesn’t make sense. They’re all loners, more animal than human. Why are they trying to get in with the Riding Hoods?” Jaiden asks. “There’s got to be a connection between them,” Bella says. “What kind of creatures have you seen?” Hawk starts listing. “Pixies. A rougarou. Several Loa. Kelpies. A goblin.” He trails off, eyes going wide.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this series. Your attention to detail and twists and turns have kept me on edge. I was disappointed Charlie died, but a good book doesn't always have a perfect ending. I can't wait for the new one, which I hope is any day now.

Moon Touched

Moon Touched

Warriors carried those promises like torches. There were creatures I’d only read of in the old, whispered tales, ghouls with hollowed cheekbones that smelled of rot and regret; angels who moved with a fragile light, oddly out of place under our heavy trees; giants who had forgotten their own size and stumbled like tired ships; dragons whose scales had dulled to ashen slate, sorrow clinging to them like dust. Humans, too, had seen them; they were walking into backyards and into the center of towns, mouths opening in stunned disbelief. The reality of the world had thinned and torn in places; a map blurred by too many hands.
