LOGIN“I cannot. . . I feel as if I cannot damn well think with this mad need I have for you,” he groaned into the hollow of her throat. “By the moon goddess, I am not an untried lad, but I cannot stop, Germaine.” She threaded her fingers through his long hair and murmured. “I have no wish for you to stop, Keratin.” **************************************************************************************** Celebrating victories does not mean werewolves appear out of thin air, or do they? Germaine is celebrating with her friends in her bakery, one night, when three men, who obviously look out of place, suddenly appear, claiming they are from another world and need her help. She finds out she may not be as human as she initially thought, and the powers she discovers she has will come in handy. What she doesn't realize is it will involve her going on dangerous journeys with them, and almost getting killed. What she also does not know, is that she is destined to be the mate to one of them - Keratin, the head of the warriors. Amongst the white moon clan, she and Keratin are an exception to the rule.

Dory, an omega, asked me aggressively, "You jinx, what are you zoning out about?" I was trying not to pull her head off of her shoulder. She thinks highly of herself just because she is the head of the Omegas in the pack house. I closed my eyes and tried to regain my calmness. And when I did, I looked at her and replied,
"Nothing. I was just wondering if you would need my help later. I know your hands are occupied with the approaching event at the pack house." I saw her arch her eyebrows in disbelief. Maybe because she was not used to me talking to her like that. I am feisty, and I always talk back, even if I end up beaten by her.
"There's nothing that you can help me with. Stop zoning out and get all the laundry done quickly.”
“Of course, I’ll do that at once," I replied and left her in the kitchen with a smirk on my lips. Surely, she didn’t see it since she continued with whatever she was doing. That’s all I can do for now. I didn’t want them to know anything about me, so I needed to appear fragile and weak.
I'm Maya, half-werewolf, and half-witch. I used to live with my father in human territory. He always beat me up after my mother died, so my aunt took me away from him, and I grew up in the Red Moon Pack. I have no idea how or why I became a hybrid since my father was a human. My aunt didn't explain it to me because she passed away when I was a little child and was put in our Luna Arwen's care.
I experienced what a mother’s love felt like through my aunt. That time, I thought everything was going to be alright because she was there, taking care of me and loving me unconditionally. Life has been blissful for me because of her presence, until that fateful afternoon in the woods. Two rogues were pursuing us. I told her about it, but it was too late. She didn't make it. And the pack, under Alpha Rhoden's leadership, believed I was to blame for her demise. Thankfully, Luna Arwen didn’t believe it. She took care of me and treated me like her own, which our Alpha as well as the others didn’t like.
I was back in my trance and stopped reminiscing when I reached the stairs on my way to the 4th level to collect the future alpha's clothes and felt a sting from my stomach going up my chest. It was a common occurrence, which I began to get used to.
It all started when that bastard, the future alpha, turned 18 two years ago. He knew I was his mate, yet he still banged another she-wolf. You may wonder how I found out about it when I haven’t turned 16 yet. The moment I stepped into the pack and saw him, I already knew that he was mine, but I couldn’t tell him that as per my aunt’s instructions.
They assumed I didn't have a wolf because of my father, but I shifted when I was three years old. That's when I realized he was mine because Fae, my wolf, told me so. She was very excited, and I also thought it was the happiest day of my life. Can you imagine a young wolf in my head jumping for joy and excitement? She talked to me and told me how much she wanted to be with our mate.
I told my aunt about it, but she told me to be careful and not reveal it to anyone. She believes I am unique since no other werewolf shifted at such a young age. Werewolves often change at the age of 16. The Blood Moon Pack's Alpha, who shifted at the age of 13, was the first to be known as the youngest shifter.
Back to the bastard. The pain he inflicted on me was excruciating at first. I was in my room at that time and was about to fall asleep when I felt the unbearable pain. It was as if someone had pierced my heart with a sharp spear. I was writhing in agony and pain and wished I could cut out my heart so I wouldn't have to feel it anymore. But I endured it, and I kept all the pain and sorrows to myself. I don't want them to find out about my struggles.
Back to the present, I was almost in his room when the discomfort went away, and then his door swung open and a slew of garments was hurled at me as soon as I stood at the doorstep.
"Don't you dare come close here, Jinx! Pick everything up and leave," the future Alpha Nick shouted, and the she-wolf who was with him was snarling at me as if she believed I had disrupted their whoring.
As he said, I picked up his clothes and left. If he thinks I'll stay longer, he's mistaken; I'd never want to be near him either. Fae longed for him, but she was also in pain and had suffered so much in trying to take the pain away that I didn’t have to feel the intensity.
My aunt was the dearest friend of the late Luna Arwen. Luna was the goddess gift to me, besides my aunt. Even though Alpha Roden does not want me in his pack, she insists on accepting me. That old alpha, as well as the rest of the pack, will not accept a member who does not have a wolf. Thinking my aunt was a witch, they assumed my mother was likely to be one too. I am not welcome in the pack since I have a witch for a mother and a human father. No one can touch me except Alpha Roden. Not until Luna passed away.
They also blamed me for that incident. At that time, we were under attack. Alpha Roden urged me to go into the bunker and be with Luna Arwen. I knew I could assist them since I had reawakened my sensory ability, but the Alpha was only concerned with keeping Luna Arwen safe, so I obliged. We were preparing to leave for the bunker when a rogue emerged out of nowhere. He was snarling at Luna Arwen, and I sensed Luna was in danger, so I went in the opposite direction and yelled for aid, eventually finding our Gamma. We dashed into the bunker. We saw Luna Arwen confined to the wall, and the rogue had his sharp claws in her heart.
"Lunaaaa..." I yelled and sobbed. While the Gamma was holding me, she was staring at me. I was ready to toss him over when I heard a sorrowful howl. It felt sad until it hit me: Luna Arwen had died.
After that, Alpha Roden went insane and became my worst nightmare. After killing Luna Arwen, the rogue fled and was never seen again. We had no idea why they had decided to attack us. They didn’t ask or get anything when they left, and being a child at that time, I had no way of finding out the truth.
Now, I'll be 18 in two days. I couldn't wait until my birthday. My aunt told me that when I’m older, I will become stronger. So I told myself that I would stay till then. This pack, especially the upcoming Alpha, irritates me. He was aware that I was his mate, yet he nevertheless banged another she-wolf.
One of my special powers was the ability to recover faster than any other werewolf or alpha. I can cure myself whenever I choose. Yes, I can postpone my recovery, but I feel nothing. I linked that to the fact that I changed early; therefore, it may be one of the benefits.
As my birthday approaches, I can feel myself becoming stronger. Then I felt it again, so I grabbed at the stairwell to steady myself. "Ooh, Nick.. faster...faster..." I could still hear that bitch say so, so I sighed deeply. Why do I need to have this kind of hearing? I promised to get back to him when the time came.
I walked down the stairs to the laundry room and began washing that bastard’s clothing. I was furious that I had to do this. I even smelled their scents on his clothes, which bothered me. I'm not sure it's still possible, yet a tear slips down my cheek.
Chapter 108The young lady lying on the cot opened her eyes but could not understand what was happening.Who am I?Where am I?People came and peered at her from above, expecting something from her. Recognition, maybe, but she didn't know any of them. They always left with disappointed looks on their faces. Amongst them was a man who sat with her for a while. He was very handsome with bright blue hooded eyes and long straight hair. She itched to run her fingers through his hair knowing fully well it would feel like a silky curtain. He always held her hand and spoke to her but she didn't understand a word of what he said. He had a sad look on his face which she longed to wipe off but she could not because she could not move her body. She had dreams of a man with a scar on his face telling her to wake up and come back to the living because there were people who waited for her and wanted her alive. He also said
Chapter 107 Germaine ran toward the table but unfortunately, she never made it there. Just as she was a hair's breadth away from it, a hand reached out and snatched up the talisman. "This never gets old, I tell you." In front of her stood a smirking Rage. He had on a long black cloak with a hood covering his head. The concentric lines on his face glowed eerily, adding to his otherworldly look. There was a terrible fascination about him that Germaine could not place. She could not tear her eyes away from his face. She tried to move, but it seemed she was stuck to the spot. She could not even turn her head. Her eyes tracked his movement as he walked past her. "So predictable, Lucia, and so disappointing." He chuckled darkly. "You did exactly what I predicted you would." Germaine heard a whimper and realized it had come from her. "Did you think that I would leave something so precious lying around if it were not a trap?" He chuckled darkly once more. "So stupid, my child." Germaine he
Chapter 106The bubble Keratin and the others traveled in smelt of Ash and smoke. It lasted a few minutes but to him, it seemed like a lifetime. A lifetime of being away from Germaine. He had been mostly chatty, deliberately keeping his mind busy so as not to ponder on his missing mate and how they would go about rescuing her.He had brainstormed with Storm and the others and concluded. Rage had taken her, thanks to the revelations from Storm after channeling the moon goodness. They knew she was being held in Tirria. The issue they had was how to get inside the headquarters of the Magedom - the glasshouse, undetected. That was where Dilla came in. Having once worked inside the glass house as a mage, he designed a detailed map. He even knew the times the Mages had their meals and also when they would gather for training. The only issue was Rage who had taken over. He was a wild card, one they had to be wary of.
Chapter 105Not again.Germaine stared balefully at the iron cage she was trapped inside. She could not believe her shitty luck. For the second actually- the third time in her life and a short space as well, she had been kidnapped. She closed her eyes and pondered on how she got herself locked inside a rusty-looking cage.It came to her in an instant.Rage had appeared out of the blue and of course, she goaded him. He didn't like that at all. From one moment to the next, everything went dark and when she woke, she was behind bars in a rusty cage in an empty room. She cursed Rage and her rotten luck. There was no way out of this except to bargain. She knew that would catch his attention. The question though, was what would she bargain with? She sighed as she opened her eyes. A dark pair of eyes stared back at her and she let out a shrill scream. The person staring at her looked fearful as if she would be caug
