Out from the ground by the downed wall appeared two slightly burnt figures. One was a large being who looked part-man, and part-elephant with four arms and red skin. He was easily twelve feet tall, and only wearing yellow shorts with a burnt yellow sash wrapped below his extended stomach. Next to him was a woman who had four arms, light-tan skin and long dark brown hair down to her thighs. She was half the height of the man, wearing a red and gold top with matching shorts. Death was thinking about the proper way to speak his anger.

There must be a reason they haven’t just killed him, he is important somehow. The other beings I thought were human, was anything but. The biggest of them all was abnormally tall, and muscular. His arms hung low and crooked, his knees bent in the wrong direction, and he was hairy like a wild boar. It wasn’t until he turned his head, and I could see his features in the moonlight, did I understand why he looked that way. I covered my mouth with my hand before an audible gasp left my lips. A half-breed. Impossible. I quickly looked to the other humans, and felt my stomach tighten with anger and something that could have been mistaken as fear. They were all half-breeds. This can’t be.
