Christmas In Hell

Christmas In Hell

“She's a true hybrid. She's a demon, angel, and human, but only a tiny smidge is human. You, Ana, are what we call a halfling. You're half-human and half-demon. A halfling is a hybrid of sorts but nothing like Misha. Ana looks at me firmly, “I will make her comfortable. You go dry yourself off because we need to talk.”

Fate Bound: To Summon a God

Fate Bound: To Summon a God

The mortals, caught in the middle of this celestial battle, could do nothing but watch in horror as their world was torn apart. The Fates, once their fight was over, realized the magnitude of their mistake. They tried to clean up the mess they had made, sealing the veil and banishing the demons back to their realm. But it was too late. The damage had been done, and the demons had already sown their seeds of corruption. Halflings were born from the union of demons and mortals—creatures that were part human, part demon. These halflings, or Shades as they came to be known, were feared and hated by the mortal clans.

The Faerie Prince

The Faerie Prince

"But, on my life, I am certain it won't be." A soft chuckle from her side made her risk a glance at Beckett. He and Tobin were doing their best to maintain their composure. Aoife drew herself to her full height, glaring down her button nose at Bailey. "Halflings don't belong in Faerie. You should be home, slaughtering the masses."

Half Blood Shadow

Half Blood Shadow

the space between the human world and the supernatural realms. "We stay in the main artery for another mile," Anna calculated. "Then we cut through the Alchemist’s Row. If we can reach the 30th without being spotted, the money clears, and we can buy a passage out of this continent entirely." But even as they walked, Anna felt a prickle at the back of her neck. The Half-Market was a place of secrets, and she was a walking beacon of forbidden blood. She had to hope that the scent of the thousand spices and illegal concoctions around them was enough to drown out the smell of a hybrid and her marked friend.

TWO CAN PLAY THE FAE GAME

TWO CAN PLAY THE FAE GAME

Elena pushed, star-tears landing on belly sealed, making star glow brighter. And baby born — not cry, giggle, black and gold giggle, like baby blood heir giggling white-gold, because both both babies giggle black and gold. Baby born, girl, half Winter half Starlight plus blood, more both than before stab, because stab sealed becomes birthmark, birthmark black and gold star on forehead, small star half black half gold, like baby blood heir gift sealing wound.

The Unexpected Mate

The Unexpected Mate

Everleigh I’m a wolf! I’m not a Fae. There is no way! I thought to myself. I shook my head and looked at Em. “I think you are mistaken. There is no way I can be a Fae.” “Well, my dear you are not a full Fae. You are half wolf and half Fae. You are a hybrid.” “What the hell? Seriously? How can this be. Zayden is not going to like this.” Evan muttered to himself but not quietly.

I really and truly LOVED this book. Yes, the ending was unexpected. Everleigh is too powerful and should be mated to only one fae mate. Or a fae/werewolf one. Grey and Zayne weren’t able to appreciate her. Actually, no one was able to appreciate her true self. I’m relieved she left them all.

Half Human

Half Human

Nala licks her dry lips and breathes deeply as she knows the scent is fading slowly. Nala pulls out her conversation when she finds out Raymond doesn't like it. "I was wondering, did you come indeed to look after me?" Raymond shifts his body to face Nala. Stare right into Nala's bead without blinking. "That's right, Nala. You have me. Although this is a consequence of Ray having half-human blood. But Ray's happy because it's Nala," he said. Ray groped his chest, then continued. "Here is a sign of ownership that already existed when Ray was born. Since Ray is half-human, Ray's owner can have Ray and do whatever he wants but Ray can't have one."

Alpha Of Darkness And The Half-Breed Healer

Alpha Of Darkness And The Half-Breed Healer

It's frustrating that I'll be returning home to the Hayes home. However, I didn't get the chance to run too far before Mindy caught up with me. I hate that I'm a half-breed. The disadvantage of being half wolf and half human is that you can never speed up enough or better than a full wolf. I have no idea how Mindy found out about me leaving when Kingston had shielded me from curious eyes. I thought I had gone far enough to rest, but Mindy jumped out of nowhere and scratched my face.

Fated To Mate

Fated To Mate

And somehow, impossibly, he had done the one thing the Council feared most. He had taken a human lover. A fleeting, fragile human woman whose name Bryan never uttered. And from that single, reckless union had come a child: half human, half Veilfea. Veilborn blood laced with the luminous, untamed grace of fae lineage and gods help them all, human fragility. An Astraeve, a star born into flesh. A breed that should not exist. A being whose very nature could bend the veil itself when fully awakened, whose awakening would ring like a struck bell through every layer of reality.

Trial of Flame

Trial of Flame

And terrifying. Before I can speak, a portal sliced open beside us, swirling with deep purple and shadow. Two people stepped out. One was a woman in battle armor that looked like it ate people for breakfast. She had a scar down one cheek and the kind of calm that said she ended lives without blinking. The other was a hulking fae man wielding a halberd that hummed with lightning. He didn't look at me. He didn’t need to. His silence was loud enough.
