A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

Haemon tenderly cups her face in his hands and calmly looks into her eyes, “Listen to me, my Pearl. I know I’ve had my issues, and I know Sebastian and I fight, but I have loved that boy since the day you placed him in my arms. You’re right, I do know our son. Our son is full of joy and charisma, and that man in there was a listless copy of him. I don’t know what’s going on, but I know that wasn’t our son.” “Then how could you let her walk off with him?” She asks, her voice trembling as she clings to his shirt. “Because I’m trying to be smart. Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

A Squire's Journey

A Squire's Journey

The guards outside Lenato's room began to run towards the door to secure their Duke. "Damn, looks like that's my queue!" William returned the letter to Lenato's pocket and hurried to escape via the window. But he was stopped in his tracks as he heard the footsteps outside of their room begin to fall silent, followed by a clash of swords and then a loud thud. It was so quick that William didn't hear the guards yelling for help. Instead, they fell with a whimper.

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Thrill of Temptation

The Fontaines of Hollywood series: The Thrill of Temptation

And they do a lot of really, really dumb things. The characters in Henry VI are a lot more fascinating. Sure, there are plenty of idiots in this play, too. Apparently Shakespeare loves his idiots. But there are also so many deliciously scheming, ambitious, and complex characters. I wish I could read the script for Death and Deadly Night - I'd love to compare it to its inspiration, to figure out who's who. I wish I'd paid more attention during those couple of scenes I was in on Tuesday. Is Omar's character supposed to be Henry? Richard Plantagenet? And who's playing Queen Margaret? Margaret might be my favorite character - and not just because she shares my name. She's so cunning and sharp. B

“ Before William’s birth or after? When did she replace me in your bed? Is it lust or love? Answer me husband, or is it soon to be grieving widower?” Charles sunk to his knees, tears streaming down his face. “Katherine, my beloved Katherine. Please believe me when I say nothing untoward has happened.I fear the fever has affected your sensibilities. This is madness!” ……….We argued for the longest time until I finally saw reason and realized Charles was indeed telling me the truth. I felt the most overwhelming sense of shame at my unfounded accusations.

Cinderella, Queen of Rats

Cinderella, Queen of Rats

Taking the book from Alma, she found a passage from William Shakespeare's Hamlet; "To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them." To be or not to be Queen, that is the question. She read the passage out loud to Alma, "To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream—" She was cut off by the Prince who had entered the room and finished the passage for her,

Through Love and Instinct

Through Love and Instinct

The man love to suck up to his master, willing to do anything as long as the king orders him too. I smiled. A loyal dog, servant only to its master? Yeah, I could see the resemblance. Among all of us, Hamlet is like an on-command servant. He would do anything if the king ordered him to. He would do anything just to pleased the king. That's the kind of man he is. And that's what makes him dangerous. "A loyal dog?" I scoffed, "Yeah, I could definitely see it in him. A loyal dog," I said. "Have they seen you already?" she said, leaning against the post right by the door crossing her arms.

ARTHUR

ARTHUR

Arthur giggles hearing me say that. “I should’ve known that you won’t satisfied with me. I am the one who is missing you, I really want you to get back and pay your losing bet” he laughs so hard and I throw a pillow at him. I was hoping he’ll forget about that bet. A day after arrived in this village, he and I made a bet about who will be the first to be involved in the love affair here, at that time I held Kathy's name, while Arthur held Anneth. And now it was clear that it was Anneth who had a chance to have a scandal with Dave. My defeat required me to accept all of Arthur's orders for 3 days. I don't think it's going to be difficult, considering that Arthur also always wakes up at 1 pm s
