Novel & Cerita Happiness Falls Angie Kim

“And yet, you kissed me, and asked me to take you home” My face burned. “I… I wasn’t thinking.” His lips twitched in amusement, but his eyes remained unreadable. “Angie, right?” I frowned. “How do you know?” He gave a small chuckle. “Everyone knows.” Right. I was Angie Harper, the pop sensation. The girl whose wedding just turned into a national scandal. Tears pricked my eyes again, but I blinked them away. “You’re not going back in there, are you?” he asked. I swallowed hard, shaking my head. “No… please just take me away from here to an hotel or something.”

I said, breaking away a bit. “Other stuff,” Angie said, making a face. I cleared my throat. “Angie Lopez is a very important business associate of ours. She has many high profile clients and recently her assistant found out she’s having twins and wants to stop working all together in a couple months,” I said, laying it on a bit thick. Angie is big on flattery.

She bites down a piece of toast. “I had hoped so.” I smile faintly. “This is just insane, Mel.” Angie sighs. “Your life is a sad K-drama that just keeps bringing out sad plot twists.” I laugh at the comparison. “Mine will be a badly written one.” “Why, Mel?” Her eyes turn teary. Angie always amazes me with how quickly she could switch emotions. “Hey, hey. Why the sudden tears?” I hand her a napkin. “Did you bite your tongue or something?”

"Oh? You still call yourself a person? Okay, let me tell you something, what kind of human would willingly give themself up to an unknown gangster just for a news story?" Angie frowned. Maxime was right. Maybe Angie was too obsessed with the news company that had fired her some time ago. Her grudge was so great that she was willing to use extreme ways to get back at the company. Is she crazy? Well, Angie has never felt completely sane in her entire life. Maybe she was, or maybe Angie's interests were just different. "You are silent." Angie turned her head to look at Maxime. "What?" "You think what I'm saying is right, don't you?"

I know my wife. Once we’re clear we take a break, she drinks more water and takes an energy bar. “Baby you know we should become one with nature…” I smile slyly. she looks breathtaking all sweaty and her sweat running down her sports bra. Angie’s always had larger breasts than other girls her age. I was in love with every inch of her. Angie rolls her eyes. “Let’s finish this hike so I can get back to the apartment to take a shower.” She stands.

I want us back ***************** Narrators POV ***************** "The kids seemed to be having lots of fun." Anthony sipped his cocktail enjoying the scene before him. Emma and Ava were splashing water around inside in the pool giggling and swimming around the pool. Emma was not a good swimmer like Ava so she had to wear an inflatable swimming tube. It was a sight that greatly appeased his soul, and when he turned to look at his wife he saw the smile at the corner of her mouth. She was also enjoying the view before her.

Jupiter the dog followed faithfully behind her. “I didn't know you were friends with Jack and Emma,” Ethan said to Jace. “Although, I guess we all end up knowing one another eventually.” “Emma and Ella became fast friends when Emma held a fundraiser for her animal charity at the hotel,” Jace explained. “Now that Emma's had her baby, they've been on the phone with each other almost non stop.”

"You, me, and Mum, we've all been holding on to a lot of hurt and anger after Dad passed away. It changed all of us in a lot of ways. Now that everything is back in its place, we should move on from that period and do our best for each other." She finally lifts her gaze to me and smiles. She opens her arms and I accept her embrace. "I'll try my best," she whispers. When we separate, she clears her throat and stares out at the ocean, wiping below her eyes. "Enough of these sad topics. Tell me, since when did my little sister start dating the Park Hyun Bin?" She grimaces. "Oh, sorry. I forgot the part where you broke up." I chuckle. "It's okay. We're back together."

Cassian kissed her head tightly. "Who are Damien and Aaron?" Cassian asked. Hailey closed her eyes in pain but took a deep breath. "Damien was my elder brother. He was murdered 12 years ago," she said, feeling exhausted. "I'll explain about Aaron and everything else some other day, please," she pleaded, looking at Cassian. He nodded, kissing her head. "By the way, Angry Bird, where is the intern who saved you? I think we should find her and offer her a job at Holt Group of Companies," Caleb suggested, trying to lighten the mood.

Alex picked up his car keys and drove home from the office. *** Angie was in the sitting room working on her laptop while Austin was asleep on her lap when she came across the news.
