ALPHA COLTEN

ALPHA COLTEN

Colten’s Point Of View I used to think happiness was a prize you got for surviving hell. Like one day you’d wake up and boom you’d cross some invisible finish line where the bad days stayed locked behind you. That the universe owed you some neat, shining reward for all the times you’d been dragged through the dirt. Turns out, it’s nothing like that. Happiness doesn’t slam into you like a hurricane. It trickles in.

A New Beginning

A New Beginning

Maybe he had never been treated like that before, but slowly, the calls stopped. The messages also went silent. At last, I could start adjusting to a new life. At first, it felt strange being in an unfamiliar place and a brand-new job all by myself. However, little by little, I realized I could actually find joy in it. Life began to feel meaningful and purposeful again. The part of me that had been suppressed for years was finally breaking free. Sometimes, though, my thoughts would drift back to the past, to those unforgettable moments that had carved themselves into my heart.

CEO is ex-boyfriend

CEO is ex-boyfriend

Violet said while shaking her head. “Single but still happy,” Cindy said. “You two are happy, and we are both lonely people for life.” Jessica looked pitiful. “There is no love, the ideal is happiness. Happiness is the feeling, the realization of dreams and ambitions. Happiness is sometimes achieving what you want such as wealth, advancement in work, and a stable life. Or sometimes, happiness is going home with food to eat, work to do, and someone to wait for. In short, everyone has the right to choose their own happiness.”

Chasing Sofia

Chasing Sofia

My fingers danced across the screen as I browsed through various countries, each one offering its own unique allure. As I scrolled through the pages, my eyes eventually settled on one destination that seemed to call out to me, beckoning me to explore its streets and embrace its culture. It sounded distant. I guess that was what I really needed. A sense of resolve washed over me, and I knew that this was where I needed to be. I would go there and start anew, leaving behind the unhappiness that had plagued me for far too long. Manchester, England, what do I know about that place? With its rich history, vibrant arts scene, and welcoming community. It seemed like the perfect place to begin my jo

FORGOTTEN IDENTITY

FORGOTTEN IDENTITY

"Not in the abstract. In the specific." "In what sense?" "In the sense that I spent most of my life believing happiness was a destination," he said. "Something you arrived at once you'd won enough or owned enough or proved enough. And then I spent several years believing it was a practice, something you chose deliberately every day, which is a more honest version of the same thing but still slightly too effortful to be quite right." He paused, his hands in his jacket pockets, looking at the street ahead of us. "I think what I've actually worked out is that happiness is just what it feels like when you're paying attention to your own life instead of to some imagined version of what your life

Charity Starts at Home

Charity Starts at Home

Reality struck him so hard that tears rolled down his cheeks. “Laurel, I’m so sorry. I was so wrong. I shouldn’t have hurt you. I shouldn’t have given our money away or yelled at you… You’re the only person who truly ever cared. “Can we get back together? I promise to treat you right. You can handle all the money. I’m done with charity. It’ll just be your dad and us. We can start over. Please… “I’m done with doing good deeds! All my wages will only go to you!”

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

she says. "It sounds peaceful." "Same thing." I look at her. Really look. The woman I once trusted with everything — and then nothing at all. "Are you happy?" I ask. "I'm trying." She meets my eyes. "That's the same thing, isn't it? Trying and being happy?" "Maybe." "That's what I'm learning. That happiness isn't a destination. It's just... moments. Choosing them. Holding onto them." "When did you get so wise?"

he asked me, full of curiosity and the concern was also there. I groped my feelings, weighing which of the emotions filling me was dominant overall. Having succeeded in identifying what was the most dominant of all, I smiled at him with relief. "You know," I began. “All my life I didn't know what happiness means. Maybe there were times when I felt that, but I didn't recognize it because I was more aware of the feeling of being hurt. There are times when I think I'm happy, but all I feel is temporary relief. Because that day is over, I will return to the point where I sank.”

he added. Felicity’s eyes lit up as she found hope. That this time, she would not be working as a stripper. Instead, she has a chance to work in a company. I knew my capabilities. And working in a company is not my thing. I don’t much about paper works,’ she thought.
