It was as if I was in a wonderland. His fingers suddenly slide my thing apart. His cold fingers come in touch with my hot clit. My legs wobbled at his touch. In the process of doing that, he was planting kisses on my napes. He suddenly stopped kissing and dragged his finger to the center of my honeypot, rubbing gently on the entrance, I was fighting the urge to moan.

My cheeks were already starting to hurt from the fake smile I had on. Tilting my head sideways, I saw my sister hugging my parents, with the three of them dancing to the delightful song booming from the speakers. After a torturous period of dancing with Murphy, while my stomach twisted into grueling knots, Heather and him swapped. “I really got lucky with him, didn't I?” was the first thing she uttered, as we held each other. Heather was right. She had gotten extremely lucky with Murphy. In the past, she had cheated on him with some guy at a bar, and he had taken her back.

The ladies all giggle and Julie stands, handing a new bookmark to each of us. "Yes. We figured we'd get you ones that suited you a little better." she says. The new one is dark blue with gold lettering that says 'Real men read dirty books'. I smile and look over at Ev who's showing Harper his excitedly. "These are great. Thank you." I say just as Bri nudges me. "Oh! Tell them your joke, love!" Harper says excitedly. Ev rolls his eyes before addressing the group.

“I don’t know why, but I feel like you’ve been incredibly unlucky lately.” Eirene gave a wry smile. “You’re right. After I caught Daisy and Bradley, it feels like all the bad luck in the world has fallen on me at once.” She paused for a moment, seeming to draw a short breath. “First, I had an accident. Then, I was ambushed by a motorcycle gang. And most recently, just a few hours ago, I was almost hit by a stranger,” she continued quietly. “If only I hadn't gone home, this definitely wouldn't have happened.”

"What was the happiest day of your life?" Alicia didn't answer immediately. She looked out the office window. Then smiled. "It wasn't one day." Emily tilted her head. "It was a collection of moments." She counted softly on her fingers. "The day Aiden was born." "The day Alex forgave me." "The day we married." "The day Harbor finally ended." She looked back at Emily. "Happiness isn't usually one grand event." "It's lots of ordinary moments that become extraordinary when you look back." Emily quietly memorized every word.
