"Papa! Papa! Please, wake up! Papa!” My young mind struggled to process what was happening. “No, no, no. This is not happening! This is just a bad dream! Please! Papa, wake up! Wake up, please!” A few seconds had passed, but my father never opened his eyes again. All I could do was hug his body and cry on his shoulders. "Please, wake up. Please, wake up.” This day was supposed to be a special day for me because it was my fifth birthday. My father was just supposed to hunt some wild boars so he could buy me a strawberry cake.

Freya praised. “Thank you, kid, but I know why you’re saying that. Your money is in your piggy bank,” Mama said. “Yehey, thank you, Lola mama and Lolo papa, and speaking of… nevermind. Are you excited for our birthday, Maynard boy? Because I’m excited.” “What did my granddaughter eat, she’s so cheerful today.” Even Papa noticed how cheerful Freya was. “You know, papa, whenever it’s close to their birthday, they’re always so happy. She’s hinting at you.” I said, referring to their gifts.

I smiled bitterly and tried not to cry in front of them. Papa didn’t remember that it was my birthday today, or maybe he didn’t even know it was my special day. “Excuse me. I’ll go ahead. I might be late,” was all I said.

As I processed the words which I said to Papa, I understood that it sounded little stupid and seeing his expression I understood that he also felt that. "She will definitely feel upset and if I am not wrong, more than her you will be upset. So you don't want your friend to be alone on her birthday. " Papa said.

She's smiling big as we sang with her ate Grace. "Happy birthday baby!" I greeted her sweetly. "Thank you, momma!" "Happy birthday Sunny!" Grace greeted her too. "Thank you, ate!" "Wishing time!" I said excitedly. She was also excited there because of her inexplicable smile. She started closing her eyes and then says her wish. I can’t see my strong papa so vulnerable. I hate to see tears in his eyes.
