A woman looked down at her from a higher step. She swallowed, meeting the woman’s gaze, a bit uncertain about how to answer her. “My name is Daphne.” “And? Who are you to His Highness?” Her eyes narrowed. “She’s important,” Blade said from behind her. Daphne looked back at him. “When he wakes up, he’ll want her nearby.” Daphne turned back to look at her. She straightened her spine. “Very well. Follow me this way, please.”

DAPHNE “Do me a favor, Daph… Warn me next time? Before you go and tell me what might be the hottest sex story ever?” Hazel shakes her head and fans herself. “It’s been a while for me, y’know.” Then she flashes a grin and straightens up. “But really, in all seriousness. He tilted his head slightly. "What did you say his name was? The resurrected twin." I held his gaze for a moment. "Daniel," I said quietly. Harry smiled, slow and satisfied, like a man who had just been handed exactly the piece he was missing. "Good." He stepped back and picked up the knife again, turning back to his apple like the matter was already settled. "Daniel is our second play."
