Even I’m surprised by my own insane courage, but I move toward the source of the crash. Stepping past a few shelves, I see a large, heavy book lying on the floor. My eyes are afraid—but my hands reach for it on their own. “A Magical Treatise on Curses and Other Influences on Subjects.” “I’ll be damned,” slips from my lips when I read the title. “I mean… thanks!” I glance around into the emptiness, but there’s no response—which is probably for the best, because otherwise I’d have definitely scared myself half to death.

Garrett The clearing is exactly as I remembered from my scouting trip yesterday. Secluded, peaceful, with a small stream running along one edge. I've set up blankets, cushions, and most importantly—a stack of books. Iris stops when she sees it, hand flying to her mouth. "You did all this?" Her voice is soft with wonder. "I wanted it to be special." I guide her to the blankets. "And I found something I thought you'd like." I hand her the top book. It's old, leather-bound, with gilt lettering. "Advanced Theories in Shield Construction and Consciousness-Based Magical Architecture."

Other students began filing in shortly after that. The room filled slowly. Mages mostly, with a few fae and demons mixed in. And the whispers started again. “…that’s her.” “The Raven girl.” “I heard her coven kicked her out.” “Because she has no magic.” Someone snorted. “Then why is she even in Advanced Potions?” “Because it’s the only thing she can do.” I kept my eyes on the grimoire. Let them talk. Professor Halversen clapped once when the final students had taken their seats.

Henry nodded. Kou was confused and asked, "Hey, what's wrong with you two, are you even talking? What are you, some kind of mind reader? Are you two psyhopaths?" "Psychics! It's psychic!" Henry corrected Kou protested, "That's what I said. Physics! Even Megumi doesn't know what you're saying!" "Hey, Physics' a subject." "It's not the same?" Henry shakes his head and said, "No." Yui ignored us and continued walking... Kou asked persistently, "Henry's a what? Megumi?"

"Cassandra I told you to stay away from mischief and try not to kill someone. Most importantly why would you even even engage yourself with those despicable human affairs. James got furious and slammed the table after hearing the word 'despicable' and left the table. He has his soft spot for humans and ofcourse he has temper like us. We watched him go and started our argument again. "They were trying to harass her and I can't let that happen." I defended myself.

Vasilisa was packing her grimoire, wrapping it up with a large piece of gold cloth she had found. "Why Latin?" said Vasilisa. "Because it's a dead language and everybody likes to use it to summon a spell, like Harry Potter," Ruslan said. "Who's Harry Potter?" the sorceress asked. "He's a wizard," Ruslan chuckled. "Why haven't I heard of him before?" "Because he's probably in another crazier universe than this, that's why," Cassandra interrupted. "If you want old, there's plenty of languages older than Latin," Vasilisa said to Ruslan.

I wonder and then my eyes fall on the wall clock which is hanging on the wall in front of me. It's 7:34 PM. I gulp and go inside. The door of the room is still open and I eventually forget about it. I see two bookshelves on the right side of the room. I walk towards them and scan the books. The Silent Patient, The Art Of Dealing With People, Criminal Psychology, Bad Science, The Power Of Your Conscious Mind, Thinking Fast And Slow, Atomic Habits, Rationality, Talking To Strangers, Righteous Mind, The Theory Of Everything.

(Hirre's POV) ~In the next day~ the Tyranny Pack. "Hirre, what's now? Did you find something you needed?" Sandra, my cousin asked as she sat beside me. We were almost two hours in the massive Library but I only read a forbidden book about magic. "Yeah. This Book of Morgue matched the things that Doctor Zahard said to me." I said while continuing to read the contents. "So what did you find out?" Sandra added as she looked at me, waiting for me to reply.

"No, don't get me wrong. That's not what I mean to say, Lydia. You didn't steal it from anyone and neither did I said it was a sorcery book. The point I'm trying to make, however, is that the book has the attributes of a Magic book." "This is not a Magic book if that's what you are thinking. It's an ordinary book. It contains elements of physical science. That's all I can tell you," I said. "Okay, that's right. If you say so I will believe you," he began whispering again. Mr Smith had just given me the window of opportunity I have been seeking to know his thoughts about the Witches and the ill fate which befell them. "Sorry to interrupt your song, but I must confess I have been enjoying the

I sighed, looking up into his sad eyes. "Laura doesn't do that for me," Ronald said, shaking his head. "Ronald, if I have to, I will, and it will be for us all," I said softly as I exited the room. I made my way down the stairs to the bookcase. I ran my fingers along the books, pausing when they came to a dark spell book. I reached for it, paused briefly, and pulled it from the shelf. The dark magic within the book almost hummed. I set the book down and opened it. I flipped through until I found a spell to undo Ryan and Eric's pact. I froze, knowing that this could be the key to saving everyone, but I was also aware that this spell would kill me.
