I shouted and I grabbed a heavy metal rod from the tool rack by the wall and pointed it at his chest. Rossi raised his hands and slid to the side and I didn't look at him anymore because my eyes caught the thick black book sitting in the middle of the open safe, and it was the real ledger with the original bank seals from Switzerland and London that my sister had been hunting for since the night the palace burned.

Tyson would say a blind man could never keep harm away from me but I trust him I know Dimitrius would kill anyone that tried to hurt me he’s already showed me that. I didn’t even respond to him. I hung up the phone quickly and grabbed my Amulet. “Agatha, take me somewhere safe,” When the colors started flashing I closed my eyes when I saw nothing but darkness through my eyelids and the smell of sweet iron flooded my nostrils. I knew I was here. Someplace safe. “Jasmine,” I snapped my head in the direction of Dimitrius’s voice. I stumbled over the coffee table in the dark trying to follow his voice which sounded like he was on the couch.

"Princess Arah, the others will lead you to the bath, please follow them, your highness." I saw one of the other maids coming closer to me and making hand gestures for me to follow them. I got towards the with one of the maids following behind. As I put one of my feet inside of the warm and welcoming water filled with the petals of the beloved and most beautiful rose.

Thankfully, with both Misty and Maize in the tent with me, their combined scents had an equally calming effect as Ben's. “Alright, tiny,” Rosie joked as she pointed to a private section of the tent. “Remove your clothes and lay on your stomach on the cot. We went around the large porch and through a grand flower entrance filled with white flowers and then after finally making it past the very large house and into a huge garden covered in white flowers but now also tents and what felt like every red wolf and every white priestess busily all working together to make a meal. Jade replied shamelessly, "Oh, come now, they've known each other since they were kids. We're together! I'll let Allen take Rosie's name if that's fine with you." She then signaled for Allen to come over, but Allen did not budge. My mother smiled and said, "I've told you: it's better for our families to not have any further dealings. Stop all your bullcrap and get straight to the point." Jade's expression turned awkward as she said, "Actually, I came to apologize. Please have mercy on us. The Walters can't take this anymore!" Hi If anyone is waiting for updates on this book - they will happen, but I have some plans for this book, and this is the second story of the series - Rain and Ashes. I am currently working on the first story, and then I will get back to this one - in a few weeks. No, no need to read the first one to understand this one, but probably some details will make sense if read in order.
