“I’m not touching that. I’ll get tetanus or something.” Harry glanced over at me with a flat, unimpressed look. “And you think I’m going to touch it?” I tried to stare him down. “I’m not doing anything. You’re the one who wanted to be the hero. So go ahead and be the hero, Harry. Open it. Don’t let me stand in your way.” Harry looked at the knob, then at me, then back at the knob, and the devil grinned. I expected something stupid like ‘open sesame’ or ‘alohomora’. But nope, he had to be dumb but piss me off at the same time as well.

I gave him one baby tooth, which was his, and I had the baby tooth of mine in the middle of my palm and showed him what happened next. In my dreams, I dreamed about keys made of bones. And as I showed him both the teeth, the thing turned into a mirage of a picture until the teeth transformed into keys in front of us. Devon held his breath as he watched what happened and then looked at me wide-eyed, still in shock, and didn’t know what to say.

His eyes were squeezed shut, and his mouth was open, revealing rows of teeth that had already been filed down to blunt nubs. He made an animal sound deep in his throat that reminded Hiccup of a wolf in pain, or possibly one of those dogs that got run over at night by cars. Nothing happened, it seemed like this fight was destined never to end. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as if it were going to burst through his skin, and he didn’t know if he could last much longer. He couldn’t concentrate enough to cast magic.

It sounds like heaven in the wake of everything her little laugh brightens up even the darkest of days. Every time my eyes land on the bruise on Harriet's cheek my wolf wants blood. Jess figured the nightmares were something to do with the spell when Cat shrank at the mention of the word. Ricky turned back to his work. "I don't get scared." It seemed an unlikely claim. Everyone was scared of something, or so Jess had thought. But the way he said it, so devoid of emotion, Jess believed him. Mr Porter looked doubly dismayed when Damien hung his work. His expression suggested he was quickly losing the will to live and most definitely regretting the lesson plan.

My face fell after listening to this bad news. "Why can't he be our permanent teacher?" I heard the whisper of a girl from behind. The same is my question. I looked around and found all the girls in the class staring at him like me only. So, I'm not alone, all girls are going crazy like me. I chuckled. "And my name is Zain Smith." He told his name and I murmured his name after him like an insane woman. I don't know why but I felt a strong connection with him.

Leia uttered as she held Alice's arm tightly. "What? I can't hear you!" Alice shouted as she covered her ears slightly. "I said, we could still leave this place!" "You know we can't!" Alice's face scrunched as she swam through the sea of sweaty people. She could smell the strong aroma of alcohol, sweat, and vomit present in the warm, disgusting air. "Leia! Alice! There you are!" They finally found Yu. He was wearing a silvery white wig (which Alice thought does not fit Yu) and a robe that had a Slytherin logo branded on his left chest. It was obvious that he was Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series.

My stomach growled despite itself—I hadn't eaten since dawn. I reached for a piece of bread, but before I could take a bite, Ronan's hand shot out and grabbed my wrist. His grip was like iron. "Not that," he said. "Meat. You'll need your strength for tomorrow." I dropped the bread and took a piece of roasted venison instead. Ronan released my wrist and watched me eat, his golden eyes never leaving my face. It was unnerving. Intimidating. And strangely possessive. "You're prettier than I expected," he said after a long moment. "For a half-blood."

Ugh, don’t think about that. I glanced down at the spell book and sighed. The next step called for me to chew the herbs myself. Something about the spit carrying magic and activating the herbs healing properties. Pushing a few pinches of fresh herbs between my lips I began to chew. I cringed at the bitterness from the milk thistle and wormwood. Edward grinned when I spat the chewed herbs into a bowl. “That’s the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.” “Then you should probably get your eyes checked.” I deadpanned. After mixing the chewed herbs with the other ingredients, I stirred them until they formed a thick paste.

It was as if she had a needle stab right through her. She was face to face with the man that chased her all the way from the alley. He looked disgusting under the yellow light. Willow assumed his teeth were a dark shade of yellow but under the light they looked brown with spots of black. His black eyes narrowed ,as he squinted at her . His long beard and dirty brown hair blew wildly in the wind. He looked as if he was a washed up pirate and this made Willow shiver. The only things he missed was an eye patch and a wooden stump for a leg.
