An unseen storm of energy raced through the plaza. The camp guards, who had just begun to reach for their guns, were immediately forced to their knees, overwhelmed by the pressure and struggling to breathe.
I approached the control console, brushed past the stunned announcer, and inserted a military-grade pendrive into the system, taking over the plaza's large holographic display.
"Survivors," I said into the microphone, my voice firm and piercing enough to reach every part of the square. "Let me show you something."
