Besides the tart, there were also several glasses of wine and juice for Anya. Then, several other kinds of appetizing food. Tears ran down my face. Harry, who was in my arms, could only stare at me in confusion because I was suddenly crying. I wiped my eyes as I looked at all of them. “Did you guys prepare all this?”

He would scream and pout like a kid all the time. “You wouldn’t be sitting here fully clothed if I really think about sex” Sebastian put her down on the sofa and went towards his desk. He returned with a gift box wrapped with a gold wrapper. Zara took it excitedly and opened it like a child “Teddy!!!!! Wowww!!” She held the little teddy which perfectly fit in her hand. She then hugged him and kissed his cheeks in happiness. The little teddy is so cute and she wants to put it on her nightstand.

I said, folding my hands in front of me. “Teddy?” Kayden asked, tugging my leg. “Yeah!” I nodded with a smile as I had already visualized this question in my head. “Like Teddy Bear, those big ones on the store counter and my room?” She asked, raising her brow. “Uhm…” I nodded, hoping the questioning would stop here, but we were just getting started. “I haven't seen a human teddy before now. Why is it wearing clothes? He looks like Mr. Graffiti in school and not some stuff for play.” She blurted, rolling her eyes.

I roll my eyes and elbow Bellamy in the ribs. “Sure.” Harry answers, waving around his right hand which is still clutching what I can now see is a shiny glass bottle full of something purple. “Incubi delivery service. Where we always deliver the whole package.” He says with a wink. I groan. “That was terrible Harry.” I complain. “I could try another one. You would be surprised how many lines I can come up with using the word ‘package.’ Harry offers. “Please don’t” Bellamy says dryly.

They sailed across the rug-turned-ocean in a cardboard box, battled fearsome dragons (represented by a crumpled sock), and rescued a damsel in distress (a particularly forlorn-looking stuffed cat).

"Let's start with the ring toss stall." We marched to the stall and waited our turn. "You have four rings each and you have to toss the rings and they should land on the bottles, if you successfully toss all the rings in the bottles, you get to choose any teddy of your choice." The stall guy informed when our turn came. He pointed st the variety of teddies as he said his last sentence. "Alright. I want the panda." I giggled like a five year old as I looked longingly at the panda, it was a medium size and I just love it. Melody paid for the rings and handed us four rings each.

In all elegance a potato could muster, I sat down across him. Under his cautious eyes, I place my chocolate brown teddy to my side and a cleaning mop on the other. "Don't tell me. Are you trying to be Hades." he queried, starting to laugh. "Yes I am." I confessed ignoring his chiding. "So is that Cerberus?" He pointed at my teddy still laughing. "Yes it is and he will devour your soul if you make a mistake. And this is the scepter with which I will blast you." I explain taking the mop in hand and bring it down on his head when he laughs harder.

Then I heard Teddy’s little steps, and before I could turn, he had strolled comfortably towards Everett. He had changed out of his pajamas and was wearing a dinosaur shirt and carrying a red Lego brick in each hand. He looked at Everett with those green eyes, stretching out his little hand to give him one of the Lego bricks. Everett was already moving when Alice appeared in the hallway entrance, slightly breathless and her face tight with an apology. Everett lowered himself slowly, one knee to the floor until he was at Teddy’s level. It was a deliberate movement from him, as if he was trying not to startle something precious.

Maybe because he was the type of man who didn't talk much, so every word that came out of his mouth felt valuable. He opened his large suitcase. What was inside? Objects wrapped in plastic and newspaper. One by one, he took them out. "These are for you. Souvenirs from abroad." He took out a large maroon box. "A teddy bear from Harrods in London. I saw this in the display window and immediately thought of you." I took the teddy bear. It was almost as tall as me. Its fur was white and very soft. It had a large maroon ribbon around its neck.

She would even miss work to stay at home and be with him. Shortly after my tenth birthday, Ted decided to come and spend the weekend with us. He’d bought Mom flowers that looked like they’d been hacked from a neighbor’s backyard, and he had bought me a teddy bear with one eye.
