My dad insisted we all bear our tribal names instead of English ones so that we would always remember our roots. My name Unugwa is actually a short form of Ojonugwa, which means God be praised. My friends here found it really hard to pronounce that long version, in fact when they gave it a try, it came out that they were pronouncing something else. So dad allowed me to short form it. That was when I was five years. I actually love the way they pronounce Unugwa. It's really classic I pecked my mom
