“Do you accept?”
I looked at Pelin.
She looked back at me.
We were terrified and completely outmatched.
But there was no other path forward.
“We accept,” we said together.
The ground shattered.
The world twisted violently, space folding in on itself.
My stomach lurched as the temple vanished, replaced by stone and darkness.
We hit the ground hard.
I gagged, clutching my stomach as the world spun. Pelin collapsed beside me, retching, barely able to breathe.
The arena was massive. The same arena Ayşe had showed us earlier. Endless rows of carved stone seats towered above us, filled with a silent illusionary audience of Artemis devoted cult following.
